12oz bottle poured into a pint glass.

Pours a clear medium copper with a one finger off-white head. Decent head retention and lacing.

Smell is a wonderful bouquet of hops. Both citrus and pine. Also a nice malty note.

Flavor is incredible. Hops are prominant from the start with considerable bitterness. Piny hop flavor briefly up front before bitterness takes over. The malt then comes in to balance everything out. Wonderful bready, biscuity malt on the finish just makes this beer.

I really wish I could get this beer where I live. One of the best IPA's I have had.

Bottl into snifter

Appearance: dark amber/mahogany, thick white head

Smell: you can smell the bitterness, earthy floral hops, minor fruity notes, pineapple and citrus

Taste: very smooth, less bitter than the nose and name would imply. Extremely well balanced, very resinous earthy hay undertones with a sharp citrus backbone. Alcohol and malt are pretty well disguised by hops. One of the more balanced ipas ive had.

Mouthfeel: not much carbonation

Overall: a very well balanced ipa with loads of hops but not super bitter like i expected. Truy an amazing beer, will be buying again. Highly drinkable.
