What a head and what bubbling! This beer looks awesome. A torrent of bubbles rushes to the top of this faintly cloudy, pale yellow brew. The head does get to be a bit of a nuisance after awhile.

Light tin and unmalted and lightly toasted pale malt aromas. Just a little earthy and clean hop aroma.

I like that this beer is unfiltered. That helps add a light fruity flavor to this ale from the yeast. Very clean finish that does get a little tinny. But overall, this is a crisp, refreshing blonde ale. Light toasty and unmalted barley flavors with justa hint of dry yeasty fruit.

Pleasantly suprised by this beer. 22oz bomber that i bought for my wife who normally doesn't like a hoopy beer but this one hit the spot. Straw color pour with two inch head that explodes with citrus hop aroma. I was not expecting that from a blonde even though it its from Hoppy Brewing Co. Will definitley keep this beer on hand all summer long. Great session beer for hopheads and anyone transitioning from mass produced lagers to craft beers.

Poured from a brown 22 oz. bottle. Has a light golden color with a 1/2 inch head.b Smell is big on grains, some malts. Taste is crisp, lots of grains, some hops are present, a bit of biscuty flavor. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent and easy drinking beer.

Poured into a snifter. No freshness date.

A- Pours a light gold color with a monstrous three finger head with billowy humps of foam throughout the surface. Retention is good as well as lacing, plus there's a decent amount of sediment suspended in the body. Nice.

S- Has a crisp, clean smell with a light hop aroma. Also notes of green apple.

T- Drinks very easily and has a mild yet noticeable hop bite. The green apple continues in the taste. Refreshing but still has a good snap in the flavor which gives it substance.

M- Quenching and light. High carbonation brings a vibrancy to the table that's quite delightful.

O- I wasn't expecting much from this one but I really enjoy its drinkability and considerable hop content. Liquid sunshine, indeed.

Split w/ bbb099 12/5/11

A: THICK 3 finger foam head that looks like whipped cream and vaguely urine colored body.

S: Lemon and air. Pretty much it on the nose, but it's tasty.

T: A bit one note but a little high on the hops. Could have used something to balance it out, but again, tasty.

M: A wee bit of heft, but light.

O: Meh. Good for a Sac-town beer and I like my blondes, but nothing too special about it.

Thanks to mjyoung for sharing this one!

A - A huge amount of soapy bright white colored head. Relatively bubbly and murky orange golden color.

S - Perfumy citrus and yeast aromas. Smells quite pleasant.

T - Earth and savory flavors. Small amount of citrusy hops towards the end. Finishes clean.

M - Highly carbonated. Medium bodied.

O - Tasted decent and smells great. Nothing over the top, but I would probably would not mind having this again.

The pour is a vaguely urinary yellow with a good finger plus of white foam. The smell tends towards the citrusy, a little bit of grain, somewhat organic. However, there's a bit of acidic, dirty taste that goes along. No great, not horrible either. I found it to be way too carbonated for my liking. All in all, a very blah blonde I probably would not seek out again.

Served in a Chicago Bears shaker pint glass.

The last of the three bombers available in my area from these guys. It pours a clear pale straw topped by a finger of white foam. The nose is light and vague, comprising light biscuit, light dirt, grass, and a twist of lemon. The taste seems to follow, but with the elements all quite magnified. There's a strong dirt and chlorophyll flavor, which really puts me off to begin with; but then this is followed by dry, dirty biscuits and musty lemons, which makes matters all the worse for my tongue. The body is a light medium, with a moderate carbonation and a fairly dry finish. Overall, a pretty poor brew, one I hope to never have again.

(Served in a nonic)

A- This beer pours a clear straw yellow with the second pour taking a slight haze. There is a thick snow white pushes above the glass and sticks to the glass with each sip. There is a flurry of microbubbles swirling around the glass.

S- The perfumed hops are bright with a green slightly pungent quality and a soft flinty note in the finish.

T- The soft pils malt gives way to a green pungent hops flavor that is full with a nice touch of lemon that changes to more of a tartness as the beer warms. There is a flinty pine resin note in the finish that grows as the beer opens.

M- This beer has as light crisp mouthfeel with a soft full fizz that supports the hops.

Poured from a 22 oz bottle into a pint glass. Purchased from Civera's for a mere $3.95

A - crystal clear pale yellow color with a small white head. excited carbonation calms quickly but leaves nice lacing down the side of the glass.

S - sweet earthiness with bits of grass. I want to say citrus but not sure if it is the color messing with my mind.

T - bitter, but not overwhelming. earthy, straw flavors at the front with strong bitterness at the back and aftertaste. light on the tongue with a clean finish

O - a very nice beer. for the price i could drink this all day.

22oz bottle

A- Pours a pale golden yellow color with a white head with decent lacing and retention.

S- The aroma is pale grainy malts with some citrus notes from the hops. The aroma is a little light and fainter than I would have hoped, but most beers of this style are not going to knock your socks off with the aroma.

T- The taste is some grain up front with a solid dose of hops in the finish. This is a nice light, crisp, and refreshing beer; with a nice little bite in the finish from the hops.

M- The mouthfeel is light bodied with a high amount of carbonation.

D- Overall, this is a highly quaffable and refreshing beer that would be great for the warmer summer months or just when you want to sit back, relax, and enjoy a light bodied beer with some flavor.

I bought this bottle because the label is awesome. I love it! It makes me feel so happy lol. Anyway...

Poured a light golden pilsner color with a nice white head of 1". Perfectly clear with bubbles rising from the bottom of the pint glass. Rather pretty if I may say so myself. I can't stop looking at the bottle! Ok, so there's a nice light malt aroma here. Grainy with a hint of pears and Noble hop grassiness. The flavor is much more assertive than the nose predicts. Grains again, but this time balanced with a touch of biscuit, light clover honey, and a big bitterness. Much more flavorful than I thought it would be. There's a good Noble hop character that gives a touch of herbal/grassy finish and something like a hint of pine. Carbonation is quite smooth and makes for a crisp texture for a light bodied beer. Highly drinkable. This is a beer I would keep around in the summer.

Thanks to ericandernavy for sharing this bottle.

The beer pours a clear light yellow color with a white head. The aroma is wheat with some lemons. I also get peanuts, which is very odd. The flavor is wheat, earthy hops and low bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Not bad.

Appearance is dull gold with a creamy white head that leaves foamy lace rings.

Smell is lightly hopped, over-ripe limes, a little skunky, sweet.

Taste also has some light citrus hop flavor, a bit sweet malt and aggressively bitter finish.

Mouthfeel is light bodied, a bit thin, with decent carbonation.

Drinkability is pretty good, a hoppy blond, but I'd prefer more hop flavor and less bitterness.

Pale yellow with a quarter-inch, creamy white head that remains. Thick lacing.
Smell is grainy malts, with some faint lemon peel notes and slight peppery tones. Faint piney hops as well.
Taste is peppery malts with some ample, piney, grassy hops. Faint citrus notes come in as well. Finish is fairly bitter, with some more piney hops and a touch of malts.
Mouthfeel is slightly crisp with a dry finish. Light body.
Drinkability is good. Easy to drink.

This is a really strange beer. It is like the best bottle of Coors you have ever had. And even more strange, I kind of like it.

Pours a brilliant slightly hazy yellow with a vast white fluffy head - almost too much head. The aroma is grainy, sharp, and slightly sour - very much like a Coors. The flavor is similarly weak, grainy and slightly sour. Again - well - Coors like. It is better than that macro beer, however, since it has a lemony spritz and a slow, deep lemony bitterness on the finish. The mouthfeel is smooth and slightly carbonates and the finish is crisp and smooth.

But still - it tastes, smells, and looks like a well executed Coors.

This would be a really good alternative to a Macro "lawnmower beer." It' snot deep, but it is kind of good.
