We usually stop here when going to or from an Angels game, or an event in Anaheim such as The Pond. If you have a large party, you can make reservations for a private eating room, which is what we did for the Paul McCartney concert at the Pond. J.T. Schmid's is an upscale brewpub with very good food and somewhat of an elegant eating experience for a brewpub. The beers are normally poured in 20 oz glasses. The IPA is very good, and I also like their pale ale. The place is always packed when the Angels are in town, so it's hard finding a place at the bar. There are several tables on the periphery of the bar. The brewing system is encased in glass and visable from anywhere in the bar. There's generally a young and lively crowd each time we visit this place.

A fairly cavernous interior is hidden from the street. Lots of wood is used to give a warmer sense to the glass and metal superstructure, along with some really great looking leaded crystal glass in use in some of the doors. Limited off-street paking and some unappealing outdoor seating. This is in the epicenter of the Anaheim experience.
The servers here seemed much more interested in the big screen football display than they were in the patrons. Nonetheless I didn't really wait long for anything. Short selection of beer with average to above average quality. Food looked appealing but I wasn't ready to try it.

This is a fairly nondescript spot at a nondescript location near Anaheim Stadium and the Arrowhead Pond. It's got that modern look that could form the backdrop for a macrobrew commercial. I went with some friends before a hockey game, and the place was fairly lively. The beers is passable but not worth going out of the way to find. The food selection is varied but by no means inspired. The service is friendly and prompt. It's better than most of the spots that are walking distance to the stadium and arena, but that's about it.

Managed to check this place out while visiting Anaheim and it is not a bad brewpub. We went during lunch so there were not too many people there. Same goes for parking.
Inside it is very open with a lot of wood and a nice view of the brew works. There is a lot of seating and the bar area is in the center of it all.
They offer a sampler of all the beers available for $8.00. Their beers are above average but nothing really stood out as spectacular. The Stout was pretty good, as was the IPA.
The service was good (again it was not busy) and the server was somewhat knowledgeable about the beers.
I would recommend this brewpub if you are in the Convention Center/Disney hotels area as it is a cheap cab ride. The food was pretty decent too.
