From the bottle, it pours a sparkling clear golden color with a nice head, soon diminishing to a thin layer. A bit of grass and malt in the nose. The mouth gets a forward light bitterness that is very pleasant. Yum!

A friend has a case of this stuff, so I tried one. Flip-top bottle (great for homebrewing!).
Golden and pretty clear with a decent head and lace. Aroma was grassy, herbal, slightly sweet. Flavor wasn't bad at all, a nice herbal hoppiness and some grass, grains. Body is light and carbonation was medium. Not bad.
It's hard to say whether this beer was at its peak, because no freshness date and the source was unsure. It wasn't bad though, I'd like to try it again when I could be certain of its freshness.

Nice German pilsener, poured into pilsener glass. Thick head receded into skin, but left ample tracing on glass. Clear golden color with moderate carbonation. Initial bite in the flavor fades fast, leaving little aftertaste. Very drinkable, but not the best in it's class....
