A: A nice deep brown, with a few clear bubbles on top when you pop the cap. It's not often I can see exactly what a beer looks like while still in the bottle, but I can here.

S: Kind of has a skunk tone to it, but that may be because of the clear glass.

T: Again, at first has a slight hint of skunk, but quickly fades to a deep caramel with some iced tea undertones. Little to no hop bite at all.

M&D: No carbonation whatsoever, extremely smooth and slick. Before you know it, the bottle is empty.

Not a bad ale overall, but there are some better, spicier offerings out there. Can't figure out why this one is more expensive, though...

Appearance: Reddish-brown; big head; good lacing

Aroma: Malty; biscuity; hoppy

Taste: Slight sulfur taste; dried figs; slightly bitter finish, but pretty well balanced; still, wasn't that impressed with the overall flavor.
