Hazy orange with a couple fingers of white head

Smell is orange peel, loads of citrus (seems to be the Ohio IPA theme which is fine by me) A little passion fruit thrown in the finish.

Taste is oranges, lemons, grapefruit, pine resin, extremely fresh tasting hops, a little malt in the finish, a little lemon zest bitterness in the end

Mouthfeel is medium with nice carbonation and a semi dry finish.

Wow is all I can say about this beer. It is refreshing, flavor full and keeps me coming back for more and more... Would have a case at all times if I could get it.

Hazy golden orange body. The head looks super sticky and I just love the webs of lacing it spins down the glass.

Holy hell this beer can be smelled from a foot away. Orange and grapefruit, pine, and sticky icky. It has a sweet tropical fruit balance to the resinous pine.

Oranges and pine, oranges and pine. Very nice play between the two. It has a bready malt balance before breaking into a long and bitter finish.

Mouthfeel is creamy then sticky. It's very soft going down and costs the tongue with sticky residue.

Man, I really dig this IPA and hope to have it again. This beer has its shit together.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a Half Acre tulip.

A- pours a dark orange with a 2 finger white head. Tick ring and clumps of lacing remain on the glass.

S- caramel, orange, grapefruit, pine

T- caramel, toasted malts, orange, grapefruit, light spice, and bitter pine.

M- medium body and carbonation. Nice crisp, creamy beer.

O- very nice ipa, well balanced with just enough sweet, citrus and pine.

No bottled on date. Tulip glass.

A: Pours a pale orange color with two fingers of white head, pretty large bubbles. Decent clarity, superb retention, and good lacing.

S: Nice mix of resiny pine, biscuit and a little carmel malt, citrus and fruit.

T: Biscuity malt, piney hops, a little white grapefruit and grapefruit peel, mild to moderate bitterness which transitions to a long, smooth, mildly bitter finish. Mostly dry.

M: Medium body and carbonation. Slight crispness.

O: Pretty good IPA, and well enough constructed, but nothing to write home about.

Received in trade from Bencooper27, thanks for the opportunity!
Pours a slightly hazy light golden color with a good sized fluffy white head that recedes slowly leaving lots of lace on the way down. Aromas of grapefruit pine and resin with a slight earthy edge. Malt aroma? maybe? The flavor is lightly bready malt with a light sugar edge. Earthy pine and resin flavor with only hint of citrus. Light hop bitterness. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick resinous mouthfeel. Very nice IPA, I'm glad I was talked into trying it.

Thanks to TATURBO for bringing this beer back from Ohio for me!

poured into tulip glass.

Appearance: yellow bodied beer with 2 fingers of fluffy white head. Thick lacing all over the glass.

Smell: oranges, grapefruit rind, pine. Hops smell fresh and juicy! Hint of bread malts. Fantasic aeromatics coming out of this IPA. The smell of fresh hops fill the room! You dont even need to put your nose into the glass to know what the nose on this beer is all about.

Taste: Mild to moderate bitterness. Slightly resinous pine and melon notes are first thing you taste. Sweet oranges combine with grapefruit rind; a really nice citrus presence in this beer. Hint of minty and slightly fruity yeast notes as well. Tastes really fresh. Great balance between the malts and hops; hops are allowed to shine and the bready malts are in the perfect proportion so that they dont get in the way of the hops. Aftertaste is mostly of pine and grapefruit rind that builds a little bit becoming more bitter; consistant moderate bitterness in the finish.

Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation. Very drinakable IPA. Bright and refreshing beer.

Overall: Columbus nailed this IPA. I would say that this is the best IPA in Ohio. I love that this beer has a huge nose and its not brutally bitter like most IPA. It seems like the brewer went for the fresh and balanced approach with this hoppy beers's recipe and I dig it. I get so tired of people just over hopping this beer style. I can really appreciate the finesse of the brewer. One of the best IPA's that I have drank in a long time.
