Not a lot to say about DIPAs that hasn't been said. Instead I give you this:

Clerk at beer store: "We got a case in if you want six. We're also sellin' em by bottles."
Me: "I'll take a bottle...I mean, it's a DIPA. How much better can it really be than other DIPAs."

Freshness is key here, and here we have it, and, take it from me, buy a fuggin' six pack of this. Worth it.

Poured from 12 oz. bottle into Sam Adams glass. Poured a light brown with a touch of red. Thick foamy head with thick lacing.

Smell is piny resin, cirtusy, lemons.

Taste is hops upfront, pine dissipates to citrus then a molasses aftertaste.

Mouthfeel is substantial with a nice carbonation level.

Overall a nice example of the style. The taste has mellowed with age, but still very flavorful.
