Served in a mug at the new brewery location in downtown Houston.

A: on the lighter side for a brown ale, poured with lots of head; moderate lacing on the glass as it disappeared.

S: roasted malt, caramel, a little plain otherwise.

T: starts off malty with some hoppy bitterness, very faint hint of nuttiness. Finishe almost watery with remnants of hops. Not impressed.

M: medium-bodied with light carbonation. Hard to ignore the almost watery flavor though, that really detracts from my enjoyment of its tenure in my mouth.

D: relatively easy drinking, but points off again for the lack of flavor spoiling my potential enjoyment of this brew.

Pint was served on draft in the Houston Airport.

Om a hop head so this really isn't my style but it was pretty good. Would be aomething you could drink a few of no problem. Decent nose. Little nutty flavor and more bitterness than expected.

My daily drinker. Fresh, unpasteurized.
Good color, brown that lets some light through. Not overly thick or sticky mouthfeel.
Malty and bready, really makes me recall why they call beer liquid bread. Nice sweetness with a dryer than expected finish.
