Poured a very dark brown, almost black.
Smelled of toasted malts with a bit of chocolate. Clean and mellow, with a bit of sweetness to it.
Tasted like rich, toasted malts and slightly sweet. It had a hint of underlying hop. Very rich, but a very well done porter.
Would I buy it again? Definitely.

Black, cappuccino colored foam, one finger, average.
Toasted smell, cappuccino, coconut notes, light.
At the taste again porter notes and again coconut.
Light, but not banal. Quite soft.
In the aftertaste cocoa and coconut.
Drinkable.

From a bottle brewed 12 June 2019. Pours a dark brown color verging on black. Smells of chocolate. Medium body. Chocolate and roasted malt flavors. Excellent!

A very nice Porter from Kinnegar. It lacks a bit of depth and thickness that Black Butte Porter does for example. However, saying that most brewers add too much chocolate and spoil it by over doing an element or two. Kinnegar have kept this well balanced in aroma and taste. This Porter is the black sheep in their taps so its great to see them pull off another style that is much different than their ales. Well done!

500ml bottle from Reillys, Lisnaskea (£2.50):
I would have preferred the coconut to be a little more pronounced in the taste of this one and to at least be detectable on the nose but other than that this one was a fairly decent effort and something a little different that is well worth picking up should you come across a bottle.
