A: Very very dark. What light does pass through ends up being a dark red. Tan head that laces well. Looks great.

S: Roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, in that order. Not a huge nose, but still pleasing and to the style.

T: Dark roasted, slightly burnt malts. Coffee aftertaste with black coffee bitterness. The dark chocolate aftertaste builds and builds, just how I like it.

M: Medium mouthfeel that is slightly creamy. Soft carbonation. Just ever so slightly watery on the swallow. Not super thick nor syrupy. Good, but not great.

This is a nice oatmeal stout. Not the best, but certainly not the worst. It is hard to find flaws with this beer.
