A - Pours a deep transparent brown, almost black, with some golden hues around the edges; thick mocha head with nice retention throughout; good amount of lacing and visible activity of carbonation.
S - Mild hint of oats, roasted malts, and coffee.
T - Sweet, creamy taste upfront with some strong flavors of dark chocolate and coffee about mid-drink; mild taste of oats with a bitter aftertaste.
M - Light, creamy texture; medium-bodied; medium carbonation; dry finish.
O - Not my favorite oatmeal stout, but better than average and worth a drink; would have no problem drinking more of these in the future.
