Picked this up from New Holland Brewery last night. Poured from the growler into a large mug. No idea what the abv is, New Holland didn't have it listed on their chalkboard.

Appearance: Decent frothy off-white/tan head. Reddish brown and unhazed body. Good head retention and lacing.

Smell: Mostly smoked malts with a little hop character coming through.

Taste: This isn't as smokey as other smoked beers I've had. The smoke is still the most dominant feature, but it's scaled back and more approachable. Smoke fades from the palate as the hop bitterness begins to shine through in the finish.

Serving type: growler
