12 oz green bottle with no freshness date.
Appearance: The initial head as very nice though it dissipated to a patch white lace, good bubble action. Clarity is on par for what a lager is supposed to look like as well as the pale golden colour.
Smell: Grassy herbal hop … a bit oily, touch of husky grain and that is about it.
Taste: High bitterness from the hops, slightly astringent. Grain in the back almost plays second fiddle to the hops, finishes with a huskiness as it slowly dries and the bitterness fades.
Mouthfeel: Ample crispness, light to medium bodied and a bit slick on the tongue.
Drinkability & Notes: Overly bitter and not just from the hop as the bitterness is intensified by the huskiness of the grain. After a few that is about it for me as I had to switch to something else. A good change up brew from the rest of the pack just not stellar in my eyes.

I enjoyed this beer with German food. It was a nice Pilsner I drank from the bottle. The nose was slightly sweet and bitter notes show through. I saw this beer poured into a glass and it had a three finger head that grew! I think this is an outstanding / refreshing German Pilsner that captures the taste and flavors I like and expect.

On-tap at Lederhosen, New York, NY
A: Ther beer is crystal clear yellow in color and has a light to moderate amount of carbonation. It poured with a finger high white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of bready (and somewhat sweet) are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of bready malts with slight bits of sweetness and a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has nice flavors of bready malts and feels a little thick fr the style, but seems like it could use a slighter higher amount of bitterness.
