Slightly hazy deep golden body with yellow highlights at the base of the glass. Creamy white head holds quite well and leaves initial rings of lace. The nose offers grainy malt and floral, grassy, and spicy hops; and the flavor follow suit. It's medium bodied with a median, fine-bubbled carbonation that gently caresses the tongue, leaving it smooth and malty. Somewhat rich in malt... counterpoint of hop flavor... solidly balanced by bitterness... a brilliant interperetation of the Czech pils style!

Love this beer! Consistantly one of their best. Poured with a big, foamy, off-white head and plenty of lace. Aroma is hoppy and malty. Color is a very clear, golden amber. Flavor is american hoppy, malty, and bitter sweet. This beer is a little different than its european brothers: more malt and body and so not quite as crisp either. Finish is enjoyable and bittersweet. Nevertheless - righteously quaffable. Definitely a session beer.
