Appearances and a feel take a front seat to flavor with this oatmeal stout.

A: Thick dark brown with outrageous carbonation, huge head, lots of cream.

N: light amounts of chocolate, grain, and coffee

T: Light on taste. Some chocolate, coffee, and grain

MF: lacking in oatmeal bitterness and bite. Smooth, creamy, thick, and full.

D: Very drinkable but not very exciting. A good stout for fans of Guinness and non-BA type beer drinkers.

A=Poured into a pint glass...took over a minute for the foam head to settle. Color wound up being a copper brown with a light yellow foam.

S=Hint of malt but not much else.

T=More like a regular stout than other oatmeal stouts--very hoppy with little maltiness.

M=Very watery...I think restaurants brew beers lighter so people consume more with dinner.

O=Better than regular stouts, but not nearly as good as other oatmeal stouts I have tried.
