We have blended eight different types of barley to create this amber ale. It appeals to the largest segment of craft beer drinkers who enjoy a smooth, malty ale with no hop bitterness.

Nice clear dark amber brew.
Smell is mild and malty, a bit sweet smelling.
Taste is a dry caramel flavor and not much else at all. An under flavored beer.
Mouthfeel is thin.
A drinkable brew. If you buy this and expect a subpar gimmicky brew YOU ARE CORRECT! Not much to this one.

Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Virtually unnoticeable presence of co2, slippery lace and poor head retention. Pretty subtle aroma: smells sweet, with a little caramel and fruity esters, and some hop notes. Flavor is sweet and the mouthfeel is livelier than expected (but not much) ? some fizz and a hop finish that takes up the rear after a few sips. All in all an ok drink for The Land of Enchantment, but nothing to write home (or any other planets).

The Roswell Alien Amber poured a light amber with a frothy white head that quickly went to a bubbly collar.
It had almost no aroma whatsoever. Very faint malt and toffee.
The flavor was some roasted caramel and toffee with a little metallic faint bitterness. It was pretty thin and watery.
Overall, this was a very bland "beginner" beer. Kind of like a bastard step-child of Fat Tire.

The after is escape from the 12 ounce brown bottle pours a translucent deep amber to mahogany color, the head is modest and frothy, the color a nice light tan, as it dissolves the resultant lace leaves a fine sheet of lace to conceal the glass. Nose is sweet malt with a citrus like crispness; fresh and clean, start has a nice light sweetness, the malt adequate and the top light to medium in feel. Finish is mild in its acidity, the hops light to the palate, dry aftertaste, a drinkable beer, and it goes down nicely in this 113 degree weather.
