A German style pilsner with German yeast, German Noble Hops and 10 percent Durst Pilsner Malt. This lager is fermented at 55 degrees for one week and lagered (German for stored) for at least two more weeks. The sharp hop bite up front is intended to keep the palette clean; giving the beer high drink ability. There is no after taste, the finish turns right off. This is the perfect session beer.

Rio Grande’ Desert Pilsner has the thinnest, little white head, a hazy, very bubbly, yellow-golden appearance, and good lacing left behind. The aroma is strong and nice- sweet, pungent, bready malt, a bit of grass, and a slight hop zing. Taste is of sweetness and bitterness, which work together exquisitely to present a biscuit-like flavor, with a lovely yeast undertone. Mouthfeel is medium and prickly, and Rio Grande’ Desert Pilsner finishes crisp, clean refreshing, and quite drinkable. Overall, this is a delicious beer, and I strongly advise trying it out!

Pint in a shaker, on tap at an airport version of the Rio Grande Brew Pub & Grill in ABQ.
Pours bright clear yellow with a small head, moderate mount of active carbonation. Smell is yeasty bread and a little grass.
Taste is moderately bready / sweet with a moderate grassy bitterness, pretty dry.
Mouthfeel is light and crisp. Overall, it's reasonably good, though pretty tame.

Pours Light Yellow..small froth.
Great mouth feel off the Bat, carbonated nice.Fresh Hops kick at the start, some buttery Ritz Cracker Taste finishes with
no after taste.
Carbonated nicely.
Quick to pick it up again and grab another sip...that's how drinkable it is...
maybe a hint of snakeskin potion or cactus juice is hidden in there..just kidding....this Desert Pilsner leaves it up to your imagination....

Draft pour in Albuquerque airport. Pale gold color with light head and decent lacing. A bit more nice malty body than the usual European pilsener. It was very acceptable
