On tap at Resurrection Ale House for PBW.
A - Big bubbles in a white head sit atop a hazy, semi transparent golden brew. A bit of yellow lemon skin and semi apricot.
S - Grassy hops and caramel malt on the front of the nose. Big bits of orange and citrus and pine actually. Smells a lot like an American IPA.
T - A great mix of floral and citra hop taste blended with a ashy whiskey barrel note. This is more of an American IPA, still fresh and stained with a whiskey barrel. There seems to be a bit of funkiness too almost as if Brett were a factor.
M - A light to medium bodied brew with medium carbonation and a powerful booze flavor in the mouth.
O - The barrel used made this 5% beer puff out its chest and stand up to bigger IPA's. An extreme English IPA IMHO, the aging did not effect the hop presence though which works well. Different but enjoyable.

Had this on-tap at the Bavarian Lodge a few months back. Couldn't pass it up as it sounded too good. This is the regular Bitter and Twisted aged in gin and wine barrels with some wild yeasts too.
Pale yellow with a nice head with lacing.
The nose is full of gin and wild yeast with spicy notes too. Very complex. Lots goin on here. Funky kinda foot smell or barnyard deep in there.
Very integrated flavors of the gin and wine barrels with a grapeyness too. Base beer is not showing but it doesn't need too.
Very interesting beer I'm glad I was able to try.
