Easy drinking lager. Cheap and refreshing. Great on a hot summer day.

16 ounce pint can poured into a glass Bought from a local ABC package store on the highway.
L: Urine yellow with lots of bubbles. High carbonation
S: Virtually zero that I was aware of.
T: Slightly sweet due to the maltose, slight cracker
F: Watery, crisp
O: Not the best but not the worst. Then again I also like PBR and Old Mikwakuee so what do I know. Lol.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a fizzy, two finger white head that dissipates quickly to sparse patches with slight lacing. Aroma of slightly grainy lager malt, faint grassy hops and a hint of apple. Flavor follows, with lightly grainy, semi-sweet bready lager malt, light grassy hops and a mild apple cider note. Modest grassy hops in the finish with a little residual grain. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. It's been decades since I had one of these, but remember the ads from the midwest. It's pretty much just as I remember and expected, a mild lager with light corn adjunct sweetness and just enough hops to taste but not to impress. As usual with this style, easy to drink and pleasant, but nothing exciting. Somewhat attenuated flavor in the finish. Surprised to see this show up locally, but fun to try it again after all these years.

I got 2 cases for Christmas ‘23: still have about a case left and am finally thinking about its merits.
I Tolar poured into a Fidens belcher glass golden clear with a rich head that dissipated quickly: handsome pour! It’s quick, cheap, tasty, and much loved at BA. Do I need to go on? It tastes more full that most adjunct beers. I was on a quest to get this product. I like having it in the beer fridge when I party with Hamms Boyz at the VB. Cheers!

Purchased at Greens in Columbia, SC
L: golden hue, looks like beer
S: smells like a 1970s wood paneled tavern
T: tastes like fresh barley and Cluster Hops(have no clue what hops are in this) , just wonderful old school beer
F: soapy yet flavorful, not harsh or metallic at all
Overall: I think this might be my favorite beer.

It has been many years! Purchased a six pac at a nice beer store in Asheville.
Poured from a can into a tall pint glass. Standard yellow color with a brief effervescent head and a bit of lacing. Sweet, fruity, grassy smell and taste. It is crisp and refreshing, and it goes very well with chili spiced up with hot salsa. It would be fun to do a blind comparison between this beer and the old college go to’s of Miller High Life and Stroh’s!

From the 16 oz can in a pint glass thanks to Bluejacket74! Cheers Dude!
This old classic that I have not had in decades pours a lightly luminous golden
color with a fantastic had of white foam that settles to a thick ring, thick clumping
layer, and sports some excellent lacing. Nose of breaded malts and faint hops with
honey sweet malts. Flavors surpass with a fine presentation of light breaded malts,
honey sweet malts, subtle grassy hops, and light grain notes. Mouth feel is light,
smooth, lightly crisp, refreshing, medium prickly carbonation, and a clean lightly
sweet finish.
Overall, I am stunned. Period. This is a solid lawn mower brew that I can honestly say
astounded me that it is not more popular than it is. Excellent!
Cheers

It's an excellent lager at its price point. Smooth, crisp, and goes down easy...

The gold standard of American lagers. Crisp, clean, and with actual body compared to some of the other lower tier brews. You can't beat the price either. I highly recommend it for a day of ice fishing, smoking meat, or just hanging with friends. Drinking Hamm's makes you feel like you're in the land of sky blue waters. It's the refreshingest.

I had heard much hype about this beer, and was excited when it finally showed up in my area here in South Carolina, however it can only be found in 24pks, so I had to go all in on this gamble. The beer tastes fine, it’s a pretty standard American Adjunct Lager, much better than PBR, but I’d rather grab a Busch or Old Milwaukee from the bottom shelf instead.
