Classic green bottle, clear yellow color, big fluffy white head with decent retention. Not much lacing. Big time skunky nose; maybe a little grassy hops underneath. Tastes much like the nose; a good deal of skunkinesss but oddly I didn’t find all that unpleasant. Sharp skunk with a little grainy malt, a touch of sweetness and grass. I was actually surprised it had as much flavor, be it as it were, as it did. Body is obviously pretty thin, carbonation is crisp, fairly clean and refreshing. Pretty watery overall.
I didn’t hate this one. I actually prefer the sharp green bottle skunkiness of beers like this and Heineken to American brews like Bud Light and Coors Light, which have even less flavor. I certainly wouldn’t seek this one out but it did the trick when it was the only option and accompanied a freshly grilled backyard burger on a sunny afternoon.

Pours pale straw clear with whire head that quickly disolves. No lacing but lots of carbonation throughout the glass More than usual.
Immediate hoppy odor when poured. Strong wet paper smell.
Tastes of strong hop, bitter and rough on tongue with hypercarbonation sensation. Watery mouth tastes consistent to back of throat and bitter hop lingers and lingers.
I wanted to refrain from any term that sounds like skunky but I can't. Will store the rest if the 12 pack and one day this may come in handy but not in the foreseeable future I hope.

Becks Light is not a very good off shoot of Becks regular...the beer pours golden clear with decent head and corbonation to start, both which fade rapidly. The smell is grain/barley and pilsner hops. The taste is sharp, pilsner hops strike first, then a slight balance of malt, the aftertaste is bitter. The mouthfeel is lacking because of the very light body, which is good if it is a hot afternoon. Overall it is a better than bud light...average beer.

A- Pale clear yellow with a fast disappating head. Disappointing, but not altogether different than any other beer in the style.
S- It smells like some grain stalks were steeped in water. Very minimal aroma.
T- Same here. Just a light grainy and mineral flavor. Real basic and there's really nothing there, even for style.
M- Real real thin body, but not as fizzy as some in style.
O- Not a good light lager, even by light lager standards.

Terrible yellow appearance with lots of clarity, no head. Aroma, instead of the nice skunk of regular Beck's, you get a much more watered down aroma. Not bad, but I'd like a descriptor better than 'water' for the aroma of a beer.
Taste, slight bitterness, more water, this seems like it was made for a yuppie guy who doesn't like beer but wants to appear at least a little bit exotic in his choices. Water, water everywhere, and not a drop to drink. A smidge of saaz hops I'd guess.

Pours a pale yellow color, nice carbonation, nice little white foamy head, with some sticky lacing left behind. The nose is grainy, ricy, very slight hop note. The taste is slightly sweet, grainy/ricy, slight hop note. Light Body. Not much going on with this one.

Okay, only reason I'm rating this as "good" is if you want to go ahead and drink light beer then it better do what it says on the label. 64 calories, folks. 64!!!! What do you expect!? Bud 55 is awful and MGD 64 is meh....Miller Lite clocks in at 96 cals and is probably your best bang for your light buck, but if you truly are counting cals then pop open a Becks Light. I've been on a health kick lately and still enjoy the real stuff, but if cutting cals from your diet while still being able to drink some beer, pick this over Bud Light, Coors Light, Amstel Light, Miller Light, Sam Light, Whatever Light.

Poured a dull straw yellow with a big white fizzy head. Lots of visible carbonation, but the fizzy yellow water type, no lace. The smell was very faint, if there at all. What I could pick up was maybe a hay, or wheat smell. Again very very faint, and hardly there at all. The taste was very light and non descript, but that is about what one would expect from a light lager. A light grain, just enough of a taste to know I was not drinking water would be the best way to describe it. Decent feel, again just the cold well carbonated. Crisp, and a clean finish, no aftertaste. Overall this was totally forgettable, as I imagined it would be. Their version of Bud Light I imagine and if thats the case, it is spot on. Nothing to see here, move along people.

An unimpressive straw yellow beer with a fizzy head that fades fast and leaves little lace. It smells of skunk, urine, grass, and mineral water. Over carbonated, watery and skunky beer. Not something you want to put in your mouth. FAIL. The beer is very watered down, light struck, a touch of citrus, hay, grain, grass and mineral water. Not tasty at all.

Poured from bottle into a mug.
A - Poured clear pale yellow color with almost no head and no lacing.
S - Slight hint of grains but other than that not much anything else.
T - Almost water with slight hint of grains.
M - Extremely low-bodied with average carbonation.
D - Very drinkable but I think water would be healthier and better.

Pretty good for a lighter beer. It reminds me a lot of a lower quality heineken. I think it is a little too heavily carbonated, and seems a little like an alcoholic sprite. The carbonation definitely overrides any truly distinctive flavor in the beer

Poured from a green 12 oz. bottle. Has a pale yellow color with a small head. Smell is a bit on the skunky side. Taste is crisp, a touch of malts and hops, slightly sweet. Feels light in the mouth and has good drinkability. Overall not bad as far as light beers go.

12 oz poured into pint glass.
A: Pale yellow, almost white.... about 1 fingers worth of head and holds on for a little while... not bad, little lighter than I like.
S: Wish it smelled better than it looks... Astringent grain in the aroma, a light hops.... Nothing special.
T: I'm getting a light malt flavor followed by an astringent grain flavor and a light touch of hops.... The finish is a little dry and there is little to no aftertaste. Neither great of bad... but better than more light beers I've had.
M: Light and waterlike... not much more to say.
D: Hey it is a light beer.... 64 calories... You could drink a s**t load of these and be OK...
Hey if you are looking for a light beer and I mean light (64 Calories) this one is not bad. Now MGD 64 is bad... This is 64 calorie good.

I had several of these, 12 oz. bottles, at a lame party, which was only offering this. Totally got a headache about an hour after I started drinking.
A- Very light yellowish color. Decent head and some lacing.
S- Slight sour scent.
T- It's really like a slightly flavored water. That's not to be, "Oh, it's a crappy light beer and I hate light beer" or anything. It's just like a skunked version of water.

I have found this website to be very useful i should have read some reviews about this beer before buying. First off i'm not a fan of Becks to begin with i really don't know why i bought this beer maybe to much time in the sun. I purchased a six pack only 5.99 not to bad poured into a pilsner glass zero head almost crystal clear apperance taste not much of a taste. The only thing i could say is it is better than coors light and miller light but that is not saying much.

This is the world's easiest drinking beer. You can pound 10+ of these and not feel bloated or filled up. It ain't much in terms of looks or smell, but has a great crisp taste that isnt very complicated. Great beer for drinking at bars/clubs. Reccomended.

Hmmm....Beck's Light. What good can be said about it? Well, it's only 64 calories and therefore not filling. And goes down just about as easy as water, so you can drink a ton all night. However, the pale yellow appearance with fizzy, thin white head is very underwhelming. The taste has just SLIGHTLY more character than a Coors Light. That probably best sums up this beer.

Yes, Germany can make a bad beer.
This isn't good, it's quite bad. The SINGLE BEST thing about this beer is the apperance, nothing more. It pours quite dark for such a light brew. The head left in thirty-five seconds but left little islands of lacing.
The smell is chemical-y sweet with skunk (Green bottles? Why?) with a hint of bitter hops at the tail end.
Taste? Miller Light with more bitter and a little sweeter. It's watery with a tad of skunk and just *that much* more hops than any standard light macrobrew. The sweetness isn't a nice carmel sweetness, but rather a chemicalish HF corn syrup sweetness.
I drank the beer in less than five minutes. I just wanted to get it over. I will never drink it again if given the chance.

Truly a Beck's Light. Has all the taste and aroma of the original, just watered down. Pours light yellow with a bubbly white head. Sweet, yet light, malt and saaz aroma. Bitter Beck's taste, with more water. According to my wife, and the commercial description, this is the lowest-calorie beer out there. I have to say it, this is really not that bad for a light beer.

Hard pour into a pint glass reveals an apple juice-colored, completely headless, carbonationless liquid. Aroma is of light malt, apple. Mouthfeel is extremely light, watery, with a little bit of carbonation. Taste is watery, tinny, soggy white bread. Can't really tell because there isn't much taste. Leaves a metal aftertaste that is most unpleasant.
The first time I tasted this beer I recoiled. Probably one of the worst I have had, very bad for its style.

This was a waste of my time. Poured an almost clear pale gold with a decent head that receeded quickly and left little lace patches. Rather metallic and morning dew like smell (read: cheap beer smell). Watery and thin and like wet grass, there is very little to like about this beer. It is bland and doesn't even go down smooth because of some ripe hopness on the backend. Had one, will not have two.

Appearance- Crystal clear, light yellow with a very white, fluffy head. No head retention or lacing.
Aroma- Not much smell. What there is is mostly sour mash with just enough hops to let you know it's beer.
Taste- Uh...what taste? Did I miss my mouth? If you took some Coors light, and cut it 50% with seltzer water, this is about what it would taste like. It really doesn't taste bad, it just doesn't have any taste.
Mouthfeel- Light mouthfeel (as it should), medium carboantion.
Drinkability- I wish I hadn't bought a whole sixer of this stuff. Oh well, I have lots of yard work to do.

If I want something this putrid and non-beer like, I'll get the sixty calorie Beck's.
Pours a pale yellow. Smells skunky, tastes skunky, with some malt. No real flavor, no mouthfeel ... not as over carbonated as some other light beers, but it just feels off.
I'll actually say it's less drinkable than the ultra.

The reason the ABV is ? is because there is no alcohol in this beer. Think of it as an NA and you'll be happy you're saving calories. You can put away a couple of these and have no more of a buzz than drinking a couple NA's. Since you're drinking NA anyway, you might as well drink this since you get some beer taste with fewer calories, although Haake Beck NA is a better drink, has both more malt and hops than Becks Light. Funny, huh?
Scored some 6's for 3.99 and that's why I bought it. A good drink when you want the beer taste without the alcohol.

12onz green bottle with best before date in the back.
Appearance: Really pale yellow color with some soda like bubbles on top.
Smell: Cooked corn and grains.
Taste: Wattery ,very watery, almost no flavor ,this beer should be the meaning of ultramega light.Remember me sparkling flavored water
Drinkability: What?? There's other things better to drink.
Notes: The worse beer i have taste from this brewery and one of the bottom 5 of all my life.
