I finally got around to trying this place. Its conveniently located in downtown Northampton with street and garage parking nearby.
The place is cozy; lots of side tables, center tables, and places to sit at the bar. In addition, their is a somewhat low ceiling and brick wall interior. Interesting feel. Not sure what a loud, night crowd would be like since i went in the afternoon, but even that seemed a little bit crowded and noisy.
The tap list is huge, but its immensity was a bit overwhelming. They had a TV screen flash their tap options or you could scan a QR code on their food menu to upload their menu on your phone. I felt the place had some unique gems while offering some macro stuff too. This mix was laudable but I felt it lacked focused.
Service was a little slow. It took awhile for our beers and even food we ordered to come around. I think they may have been understaffed for the afternoon. So it might have been typical service. We just ordered french fries, which were pretty good.
Overall, this place is ok, but with so many offerings on tap that do not seem focused, I felt a little underwhelmed.

Over 100 beers on tap, what else can I say. Their online menu is always up-to-date (in fact they don't have a beer menu, they just tell you to look it up on their site). I went last week and had a '14 BCBBW and Uncle Jacob's Stout. They always have good stuff. But, it gets horribly crowded and noisy on weekends.

Finally made it to McLaddens. Parked in cheap public lot and walked the three blocks. Nice, sunny hot summer day, but this place was small dark and cool, almost to cool and dark. Impressive tap menu, which is easily read. Three bears from Jacks Abby which I love. Not crowded in the afternoon. Four nice leather chairs by the door. Will go back again.

McLadden's..... well Mcladden's can boast an large number of taps but when you have 7 or 8 taps from multiple breweries it kind of dilutes that notion. The vibe was fine for a college town and the food was passable at best. The waitress I got was almost non existent and I had to ask a different waitress to take my order. Not the best experience and there are other choices in Northampton.

I'm not sure what that other person was talking about, the bartender that I had was amazing! Loving some of the bourbon barrel aged stuff they have on. Definitively my go to for great beer.

I've been here about three times and probably my last time. I'm not a beer snob but I do know my beers. I know when a beer is flat, when a beer is oxidized, or when the lines are not cleaned. I know because I experienced all these at McLaddens. I also know that I don't like to sit near chumps drinking PBR next to me with his buddies taking about "bitches they banged". That's the clientele you get when you offer crap.
I like the interior but this food is below average, beer flat at times and the tenders don't know jack about beers except the style and color. Even I can say "IPA" or Imperial Stout".
People never think about quality but rather quantity. This place has lots of beers but many are flat, old, poorly cleaned lines and too many rift raft starting trouble.
A good craft beer bar doesn't need a big bouncer, just someone to ID people. To avoid rift raft go elsewhere where you can sit, talk and enjoy your evening. ,
So, for everyone who thinks this place is awesome - I'd say go learn more about beer. Then you'll see what I mean. This place couldn't tell you the difference between a Weizenbock and Dunkelweiss. If you don't know the difference between them, then I see why you think this place is awesome.
This place is NOT an IRISH BAR. If you're Irish you know what I mean. It's a gimmick!
Get educated, it won't hurt.
BA Score - "World Class" - my ass!"

You cannot go wrong. This place was hopping on a Saturday night with pretty girls and best of all pretty great selection of taps. Better than life replica of any great Irish/English pub, repeat better! Atmosphere, taps, tens of premium single malt Scotch selections, and alas, average pub food. Can't have it all. Go for the beers!

Unreal. 105 craft beers available on tap. Six taps for Founders, three for Firestone Walker...The tap selection is so large, they post it on a video screen and keep it continuously rotating. The Irish food and tavern decor are excellent as well. The service on a busy Friday night was also excellent. But seriously...sooo much beer.

This place is amazing. Not only is the tap selection huge it is always changing. Everytime I go in I am surprised by a new beer I havent had on tap (last time it was Great Divide Yeti). Tenders are friendly, and are knowlegable. My only complaint is the food selection is not the greatest, but the nochos with cornbeef were great, dont expect burgers and fries.
I love this place, and will be there often.

The third of the McLadden's that I've visited.
The tap selection is ridiculous!
Upon entering and seeing the ONE HUNDRED FIVE taps, I immediately closed my eyes and tapped my heels three times saying "GET A HOTEL ROOM".
Alas, I did not....
The bartendresses were lovely lasses who knew their stuff.
The room is long and pubby, with scant booths to sleep...I mean SIT in. The bar is great.
They'll give you a menu for beers, or, you can watch the mesmerizing 5 foot wide video screen on the wall that constantly rotates the beer selections.
I watched it like it was showing Halle Berry and Sofia Vergara having a squirtgun fight in a keg cooler while wearing white sundresses and Stan Smiths.
The location is the reason the grade I gave for food suffered a bit. The building is so old, there was just no way they could put in an exhaust fan for a full working kitchen. Totally get that.
It's the 'con' to a very large 'pro' I call ONE HUNDRED FIVE taps!
I shall return again.
And again.
And again.
