This ain't your grandma's fizzy blueberry lager. Blueberry Cobbler is a copiously blueberried glass of goodness with real cinnamon and vanilla added. It's purple, not because we add coloring, but because we use natural blueberries. So go ahead and sneak a slice. We won't tell.

Reviewed from notes. Poured from 12 oz. bottle into a CCB pint glass.
A: Pours a mildly hazy golden amber, with low visible carbonation and a thin head that has definite blueberry color to it as it both forms and fades quickly.
S: Blueberry pie filling, grainy doughy biscuit malts, and some husky character that makes me think there is wheat in the malt bill. Mild tartness to the aroma. Aside from the tartness, the aroma is reminiscent of a blueberry wheat from the late 90s. Nothing offensive here, but it’s not getting me excited.
T: Blueberries and cinnamon-sugar mix, biscuit malts, and cobbler crust. Mildly husky wheat here again, vanilla, and some more cinnamon later and through the swallow that lasts with mildly tart blueberries in the hang. As the beer warms a bit out of the fridge, the blueberry and cinnamon get a bit more prominent and a bit more sweet, which help the flavors mesh more.
M: The mouthfeel is fairly light, with carbonation on the low side. The ABV is very well-hidden.
O: I didn’t think this was a bad beer, though maybe gimmicky. Perhaps something to give to your friends who are learning about craft beer and the flavors it can offer. In the vein of CCB’s Oatmeal Raisin or The Bruery's Or Xata – it is what it claims, I just don't think it works out to be a great beer.

Funky Buddha comes out with a wide range of beers. If you visit the taproom you will find 15 to 20 ready to roll. We were in town for the Blueberry Cobbler release. The ale was a smooth vanilla finish and some nuttiness, liked baked goods. The color is stunning at a light purple. They really got the flavor on this one.

This beer pours pale red but fills to a dark, cloudy red-violet with a large, lumpy foam that's white with a barely pink hue, settling in mounds.
Smell is graham and half-baked cinnamon oats with touches of blueberry and vanilla-spiked french toast.
This beer comes off as well-carbonated and tangy with a surprisingly full, round and soft body and a semi-wet finish, where blueberry takes the fore, but makes room for those grahamy-wheat and cinnamony-oat scone/cobbler attributes that it successfully nails. A little vanilla cola runs along the background making this overall quite sweet, but not overpoweringly so, where the freshly made blueberry filling builds to a nice plateau.
Thankfully it does not contain any medicinal or tart attributes like I expected. Another surprise was how good of a choice it was to execute a wheat beer of this quality for adding blueberries to--this beer and treatment play well together.

Bottle poured into a pint glass
Two finger pink hued frothy foam cap settles to a solid layer over a reddish brown liquid with a steady stream of carbonation
Aroma of wheat, cinnamon, spices,
Taste is wheaty cinnamon
Low sudsing
Can't seem to find the blueberry but definitely found the cinnamon. reminds of a summer wheat ale version of winter warmers
Nice beer

Pours with very little head, smells like fresh blueberry cobbler (including the aroma of a crust/crumble), tastes like a wonderful desert beer.
