Our unfiltered and refreshing German-style wheat beer is full on flavor yet light on the palate. Authentic hefeweizen yeast creates the compelling aromas of bananas, citrus, and cloves, while the all wheat and malt body perfectly captures the brilliance of a golden Florida sunset.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a Pilsner glass. No date or code on bottle.
My sweetheart brought 3 bottles home from her recent trip to FL.
A - Dark straw color, slightly hazy. Active carbonation quickly creates a snow white 1/2"
cap that quickly dissipates, no lacing at all.
S - That Hefeweizen yeast sets the tone immediately with banana and clove, then comes the citrus warm fruits apricot, orange and fine honey. There is just enough room for a hint of English cracker in there.
T - No messing around here, wheat strong, banana and tropicals straight from the nose to the palate. The citrus component wraps things up nicely.
M - Surprisingly slick on the palate not in the best way, Carbonation is present but not up the challenge of the grain, yeast combination. Sweet finish lingers for some time and closes out with citrus oil quality.
O - A nice Hefeweizen for sure, this has inspired a few purchases of the German classics for future tasting. The citrus elements are pleasant, I wonder if that slickness is the intent. Overall worth tyring for sure.
Cheers

pours nice
spicey and floral scents, a bit odd & more spice than beer
taste has lots of that flavor of whatever you would soak a ham in...
mouthfeel is kinda watery, not a fan, and as it warms that enhances. drink it cold and fast.
finish reminds me of bitter water
overall, i guess a good hammy hefeweisen, but not up my alley. if someone handed it to me i'd enjoy it, assuming it was super cold, and I'd drink it up pretty quick before it started flattening out.

Draft: Poured a slightly cloudy gold/orangey color ale with a medium size foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of semi-sweet wheat malt with some light bubblegum notes and faint bitterness. Taste is also a mix of sweet wheat malt notes with some bubblegum ester notes and light hops bitterness. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Enjoyable wheat with very refreshing notes.

12 ounce can into a pint glass.
Reasonable foam sits atop the golden brew.
Aroma of classic hefe. Clove right up front. Banana right behind.
Taste wise, this is not a bad effort from Funky Buddha - I have been pretty hard on their techniques, they use a lot of syrup. But not here. Fresh, classic, pure ingredients.
Feel is light, leaning to medium body, medium carbonation.
Overall, not too bad.,. I’ll finish the sixer and keep it in mind.,.

Part of an Advent calendar.
Best by December 2022. Yikes.
Pours a mostly clear pale gold with a small head of foam with some lacing.
Smells of cloves and banana, not much beyond that as the cloves are really strong.
Wheat, big cloves, bananas, eh...rather typical of the style, just not in the freshest way.
Light body and carbonation.
Good enough, I guess.

En Wonder of the Seas (Playmaker's Bar), en Civitavecchia. De barril. Buenísima hefe, como las mejores alemanas, salvo por el precio
