I have to say that seeing the score and reading the reviews after visiting this place was shocking. I noticed that there has not been a review for almost two months so that could account for the difference but nearly everything we experience was completely different that every other review.
Atmosphere: Great location in Historic Old Town Fort Collins. Separated into two physical locations by a walk way with a basement that connects the two. The place was pretty quite with less than a 1/3 of the tables filled. But our party of eight was crammed into a table in the back of the back patio. Not a good start.
Quality: The beers were grainy and inconsistent. Some were chalk full of diacytle. We had some get the samplers and others get a normal pint. Many were left on the table, unfinished. Out of eight people and a total of 11 different beers order via sampler or pint, there wasn't a good one to be had.
Service: I would have ranked it lower but we had a new server, who was being assisted by senior staff member. Service was slow, disorganized, and frustrating. Long wait times between orders and it being served. Rarely checked on during the service. Some of which can be explained by new staff. However, they were not busy at all and the senior staff should have been much more helpful especially when it is slow.
Selection: The selection was the lone bright spot in they had several styles to choose from. However, a good selection of bad beers doesn't really help.
Food: Just not good. I ordered the Devils Back Bone which is a Buffalo burger topped with garlic portabella mushroom sauce. I had high hopes and it just didn't come through. The sauce was very messy with very little mushroom and only hints of garlic. Everybody else seemed to have a similar experience.
Value: Very good prices, very poor return for your money.
I hope that our visit was an aberration and from reading the reviews I would think it was. However, our entire experience was very bad. I'm not sure how an off day would make the food, service, and beer bad. If so they had the perfect storm or bad that day.

This was stop number 4 on the brew tour. They have self guided tours of the place that one can swing down stairs and get a look-see of whats what. It had a ok vibe with an old western feel. The bartender was very nice and seemed knowledgeable on the beers they had on tap. The brews I tried I wasn't particularly impressed with. They both tasted buttery with a light smoke which kinda hints at a possible line infection. I wouldn't mind stopping back though, they were rather busy with the restaurant.

This place feels good and looks good. With it being split apart from a pool hall and a restaurant, it gives everyone a reason to try it out. Pool tables are well kept up and a large number of them as well. Decent jute box and an open kitchen that fills the room with excellent oak pizza aromas. There wasnt a part that looked dirty or not kept up. The only let down here is the drink. While the majority of there beers are just ok with a few that stick out. In the end you dont walk out feeling unsatisfied.

The atmosphere is that of an American pub. Karaoke and billiards are the main stay here. The food is good quality. I enjoyed the pizza I had both times I stopped by. The single malt scotch selection is great. Their house made root beer is incredible. Their beers all seem to have a bit of a fishy taste. They had a beer called the black knight (I think) that was my favorite I've tried. I would go there after a long day in the spring/summer to get their watermelon beer.

In the central part of town, it had a sort of mall/ touristy/ supper club feel to the place. I really wanted to try the peanut butter hamburger, but didn't have the time. I did a sampler of beers and they were OK, but I really didn't find anything that pushed the envelope. For those who are beginning the journey into craft beer this would be a good place, but for me I'll be on Fort Collin's east side.

I'm taking a moment to revise my review. Food good. Great place. Lately, not impressed with the beer. Their "Anniversary" Cherry Ale was bad. My wife came up with a slogan. "Fun place, *$#@ beer"
Sat outside and enjoyed the weather, food and beer. This is the base standard of brewpubs. Solid beer. The food was amazing. The waitress we had was coming off of a busy lunch, so I'm not sure we we're her priority, but she was okay. Had knowledge of the beers on tap. There's always the opportunity to play pool and hang out if time allows. Overall a great place. If you get a chance sit outside and get a great opportunity to people watch as you enjoy your beer. Also walking distance from the two major craft breweries in the area NBB and Odell.

After visiting New Belgium, I went to Coopersmith's for a pint and some dinner. They had two buildings next to each other: A restaurant/brewpub and a pool hall. Each has slightly different menus and beers. I found the food good, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere very nice. I'd recommend this place.

Coopersmith's essentially has two different venues: the pub/restaurant side and the pool (billiards) side. Their beer and some food is served in the pool side, and they have quite a few table to play on. The bar and restaurant have a nice atmosphere, but it can get quite busy on the weekends. The food is definitely above average, but the beer is the main reason to go. The have a few sub-par ones (read: Sigda's chili beer), but most are very good. Their seasonals are always very good, and their Horsetooth stout off the nitro-tap is amazing. Overall, a nice pub and pool house in the heart of Old Town Fort Collins.

Stopped in Ft. Collins on a Saturday night along our journey from TX to Yellowstone for the night, and picked Coopersmith's Pub for dinner. Parking in this town is crazy, had to use (and pay) the public parking structure across the street. College town, the weather was nice, so there were tons of people out and about. Place was busy and we had to wait to be seated, but no more than 10-15 minutes. Service was ok, waitress was cordial enough, but busy. I think the service would have been better if the place wasn't packed. The Kolsch was fantastic. The food was pretty good, nice variety to choose from and the prices were reasonable. I'd recommend it if you are in the area.

During our trip out to CO for the GABF, a day trip to Fort Collins brought us here for lunch. Walking into the the pub side of the establishment, a dark wood theme was noticeable. The menu had offerings for everyone, and the beer list was quite impressing with a number of varities of their brew available. The service was quite good, and the food was delivered quickly. The only complaint I have is that the beer all had a sweet flavor to it, regardless of style. This may have been a fluke. I would recommend when in the area to stop by, at least for the food.
