I arrived around 6PM on Tuesday, and this place was pretty slow. this concerned me at first, but after being there, I could not understand why.
I spotted a Chili beer offering and had to try it. The bartender handed me a sample, then I opted for a pint. This one really smelled and tasted of chili. A few people actually stopped in for growler fills while I was there, and they all asked for the chili beer.
I started with the jalepenos crusted chicken fingers. This is a monster appetizer, I only ate 1/2 of it, as to not ruin my main course. My main course was a sheppards lamb pie, which was also a very generous portion, and quite delicious.
A horsetooth Oatmeal Stout for dessert and I was on my way back to Denver.
I will return, and I will not forget this place anytime soon since I tried my first chili beer here.

Fort Collins has a little bit more brewpub competition than it used two, between two CB and Potts, Fort Collins Brewery's Gravity Ten Twenty, and the fairly recently opened Black Bottle Brewery. Coopersmith's, once almost completely unchallenged there, now has more options to deal with. Even so, it stacks up with the best of them.
Whatever you may be looking for, Coopersmith's has something that just might satisfy you. Looking for a typical restaurant experience with good food and in house beer? Go to the ever-popular pubside, with its sit down booths and tables, attractive bar, and lovely patio. Looking for something that reminds you more of the town's area bars? That's the poolside, with its more dimly-lit bar, framed by the brewing kegs behind them, and large number of pool tables in various rooms. If you're hungry over there, you can order meals and use its own seating in a slightly more casual setting. The place is popular on both sides and for good reason.
The beer selection is extensive and there are constantly changing seasonals and limited releases. It's all very good. Yes, there's better beer in town. There's better food in town. But both are still very good here, and the overall combination of high quality food and beer and a fantastic atmosphere makes for one of the best experiences in town.

Had a nice stop here for dinner on our way out of Fort Collins. A nice place, though perhaps a bit out of date in look, kind of like a '90's chain restaurant. We sat in a booth on the pub side.
Beer selection was very solid. I had the Punjabi Pale. The wheat and the kriek were very nice too.
The menu was very diverse and everything was well prepared. I had the Hobgobbler (turkey sandwich. yummy!). Others in the group went for sandwiches and burgers. Everyone enjoyed the selections.
Service was fast and pleasant. Coopersmith's did not blow me away but it was a great stop before we got back on the road to finish our drive to Wyoming.

Went to Coopersmith's yesterday and had a great time. Across from the brewpub is a parking garage and the cost was $2 while we were there and shopped along College Ave. There are two sides: the restaurant side and the pool hall side. We went to the restaurant side and got seated immediately. There is red brick, plenty of tables and you could sit at the bar if you wanted. Service was fantastic throughout our meal and drinks. There is a patio and you could have your dog sit outside the fenced area if you sat next to the fence.
I had a Scimitar IPA which was seasonal and a Watermelon Ale served with a wedge of watermelon. The IPA was very good and enjoyable. The Watermelon Ale was refreshing and my friend and I really like it. The mac and cheese was infused with a stout and had bacon and parmesan cheese on it. It is served with beer bread that was fantastic.
Overall, they only serve beers that they brew. Some they always have and some special beers they brew and call them seasonal. You can get a flight of beers with only their regulars but can sample a seasonal before you get a pint. I would hang out here if I lived close and visit again when coming to Fort Collins. I recommend it
