Apricot Jam, candied lemon peel and mild earthy aromas. This mixed culture golden ale brings a strong acidity tempered by sooth oak and a mid-palate fruitiness.

Deep orange color. The body gives the appearance of apricot with minimal head retention and mild carbonation. The smell is sour candy, malt vinegar, and unripe fruit. The taste is quite one dimensional. Bracingly sour throughout the drink. Slightly milder when close to room temperature but still very sour. Maybe a hint of apricot skin on the finish once warmer. The initial flavors give hints of an Oude Bruin in terms of tinny/metallic notes due to the high levels of sour. Only hints of cereal grain in the finish as the sour level drowns that out.

From tap, not bottle. I could imagine bottles being quite different. Looks quite juicy. Smell is bracingly sharp, acidic. It's a notch dialed back from that fruity vomit aroma ... and may be more subtle in the bottle or may subside into a pineapple fruitiness (as vomit sometimes does). Taste is better, you get a feel for the underlying base, the fruit, but the acidic element still runs over the top a bit too harshly. Interested in revisiting in the bottle.

Crisp orange clear color. Nose is muted but with good sour bite and peach bites. The taste is puckery but juicy with stone fruit taste. A very good, solid beer.
