a session sorachi brew, now we are talking. went to maine on a beer trip and didn't even know this place existed. easily the highlight and surprise of the trip for me was this little gem. plenty of body from rice additions in the mash, lacey head and nice looks of golden haze. a nose of pure sorachi ace hops, my favorite varietal hands down. lemony and fresh, this is well done with the balance of Czech saaz, a hop combination I am now dying to mess around with I my homebrews. a simple flavor profile really, just sorachi hops and a bland but appropriate grain set up. the rice adds more body than flavor, and the bitterness of the saaz in the finish is dialed right in. I could not believe how good this was, and that its under 4% abv is astounding. so fresh and full of flavor, and so intriguing. its an all day beer for sure, and if this was available in my regular market, im not sure I would drink much else. really, its genius. stunning example of brewing creativity and execution. epic first impression from infinity!

Dubbed as a "Session IPA" made with rice. Poured on-tap and served in a tumbler pint, the beer has a bright, hazy, golden-maize coloring with a steady carbonation through the body and a white, fluffy, clingy head. Nose of lemon zest, lemon grass, cut grass, and pine tassel. Flavors of roasted grain initially, with grassy notes building shortly after. Lemon tart and sweet at the tail end of the palate, bringing a hint of bitterness, also. Light and effervescent in mouth, with a bitter, tart, citrusy aftertaste. Slightly drying, bitter finish. Very unique and very drinkable.
