Wine bar with 29 or so craft beer drafts as well. Odd vibe - open warehouse feel but with random furniture surrounding the circular bar in the center. There is also a restaurant called Fishmongers that shares the space? Beer selection is pretty good quality. They has some happy hour specials and limited food.

This place has recently geared up to serve a lot of craft beer. They have about 28 taps, all from San Diego County. As a result they have some of the lesser-known microbreweries from the area. I've encountered Acoustic, Alesmith, Modern Times, Benchmark, On-The-Tracks, Wet 'N Reckless, Culture, Belching Beaver, ChuckAlek, Hillcrest, Iron Fist, Latitude 33, Monkey Paw, New English, as well as the usual Coronado, Green Flash, and Ballast Point.
At the bar is a nicely-done binder of many of the breweries they feature, with beers, locations, etc. They seem to be eager to promote San Diego beers, even looking up directions to visit one of the other places. Really friendly bartender and chef. Unobtrusive music and no television, which is a nice change. The barrier-free expanse is just huge but full of art. It's like no other beer place in this part of the world.
Food is mostly upscale snacks with more substantial offerings. A variety of toasted paninis, cheese and charcuterie plates, sliders, and salads. Food was good, and the cheese board was ideal for beer tasting. The place is also a big wine store and they have wines by the glass as well as weekly wine tastings. The third Friday is the food truck extravaganza.
If you're staying downtown or in Misison Valley and have time to take the trolley to just one bar to taste a bunch of San Diego area beers, this is the place. It is just across from the Washington St. light rail stop. Parking in the back. Small deck overlooking the airport. Good train watching as Amtrak and the Coaster go blasting by a few feet away.
