Balanced toward the hoppy end of the spectrum, this straight-forward, dry-hopped California pale is eminently sessionable. Crystal malt provides the backbone to showcase the bright, citrus and piney notes from Cascade, Chinook, Citra, and Simcoe hops.

Pours light gold with a decent sized white head. Minimal lacing. Aroma is fairly weak, but nothing astringent coming through. Cracker malts in both the aroma and flavor. Some citrus hints on the tongue, but nothing too present. Feel is medium with high carbonation. Overall, I'd say your run of the mill Pale Ale. Nothing special going on, but I wouldn't seek it out. Relatively easy drinking.

San Diego style on a pale ale. Hoppy aroma, mildly bitter, clean. Just a hint of tannins/husk. Light and sessionable body. I want to say “nothing fancy” and yet this beer stands apart from other pale ales.

I was a bit skeptical when I purchased this. I've had St. Archer before but was largely left underwhelmed - this offering was different. Poured a light golden orange (I typically love the lighter beers than darker ales), aroma was a nice pine + citrusy blend. They didn't skimp on the aroma hops. Taste was light, hoppy, fruity, not much malt but more hoppy than malty for sure. There is a decent hop bit on the finish but nothing overboard or off balance. I will definitely get this again. A must try if you dig west coast pale ales.

Hazy golden with almost no head on an admittedly overly ginger pour. Aroma is not incredibly strong but is incredibly fresh and full of grapefruit, citrus rind, orange, some peach and apricot, lemon, and pine. Taste is more piney and hop-forward with citrus, pine, and grapefruit, moderately bitter. I'm sure there is enough malt to support the hops but I can't really pick the malt out. Feels crisp and a bit resinous. Finishes bitter and refreshing. Excellent!

Copper to gold in color with a fingernail of dishwater white on top. Moderate lacing. The aroma is of light malt with citrus hops. I'm tasting citrus hops and light doughy malt. The mouth is smooth, crisp, and refreshing.
