Notes:
This brew uses several varieties and multiple hop additions to the kettle as well as a large "hop back" to give the bitterness and aroma a start. Plenty of dry hops finish it off and give a big hop bouquet.

A - Dark orange brown with nice carbonation and medium body
S - Loads of pine with a light caramel malt backbone
T - Tons of pine up front that give it a good bitterness. Light caramel malt comes through in the background to give it a nice balance and sweetness
M - Thick with lots of resin that lingers on in the finish
O - Solid piney IPA that comes through with a lot of resin that lingers on.

look: 3.75 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.75
a hazy orangey pour with a finger of white foamy head which dissipated slowly and released some great lacing. smells of grapefruit citrus, caramel, bready malt. tastes slightly oxidized.. bready, light hints of hops (grapefruit, minty), subtle sweetness from the malts. medium body with high carbonation.
out of the 3 alpine beers i got (nelson, duet, and this) this is my least favorite and the only one i found had an oxidized flavor. even with the oxidized flavor, it is still a pretty good ipa.
