Love this place! The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Great inventory! Nice six-pack selection in the cold case--all the everyday stuff from my favorite craft breweries like Dogfish Head, Evolution, Troeg's, Victory, Weyerbacher and many others. Also a nice rack of Belgian ales, and in the back, an expansive selection of bombers/ 750's/ limited releases. Prices are competitive for the area. Craft beer club is great--10% off my purchases and emails when they receive small quantities of hard to find selections.

This is my favorite liquor store to go to. It has a nice set up and is small enough to not get lost looking for the craft, and large and put together well enough to have a great selection of year-round beers and some of the best seasonal and limited offerings. About 50% of the time the first thing you encounter when you walk in (other than the stack of flying dog to the right thats been a frequent display for a while) is there spotlight beer or their on sale craft. In the back corner they have a huge selection of 750ml bottles and a pick your six rack which has a pretty good selection as long as you check the dates on the bottles. The people are pretty friendly and you can quickly strike up a conversation, one perticular cleark has a pretty good beer knowledge and after talking to him for a few minutes he even sold me one of his two remaining bottles of Hellhound on my Ale he had been saving. I was told about a craft beer club they would be starting soon which sounded pretty cool, discounts and emails when new stuff is hitting the shelf. This place is pretty awesome and if i ever did move away from Westminster I would still make an effort to shop here.

Decent selection of beer, especially the make your own six pack wall. It is larger than most that I've seen and it is worth the prices. There are some gems in the regular selection of six packs as well and plenty of twelve packs and cases. Its certainly a good place for the experimental college student going to school around there. They have a large wine selection that I believe they make most their money on, but their beer selection is not hurting. They have all the big names plus somet that make you want to go here. Good store, good atmosphere.

They just started a craft beer club as well. Something to check out and save some money on craft stuff.

On the whole, a really decent local place to grab some beer. Obviously, you're going to have your generic tons of Corona and Bud, and your chilled sixes of Sam Adams, etc, but a nice variety of local MD beers, plus a build-your-own six of a decent assortment of beers, some local, many not. Might not be the hugest store, but for the size they have, a fairly decent craft brew selection. The gentleman there at the counter was welcoming and helpful when I asked about certain local breweries, and was able to recommend me a few things I hadn't heard of. I'll be back.

I was at Cranberry Liquors (Westminster) and overheard someone standing in the beer aisle commenting on how much better the selection was at College Square Liquors. Hadn't been there. So I tried it. Really a nice place. Much better selection than is typical here, some new craft and imports. The Make Your Own Sixer was a decent selection of odds and ends (found a few I hadn't tried), though definitely not representative of the selection in the cases and on the shelves. Definitely the best selection in Carroll County--and the prices are good.

I paid a visit this past weekend after seeing some reviews on this place just to see what was what. Store was very clean and the service was pleasant. Spoke to Chris the part owner for about 20 minutes or so who knew his beers pretty well. Prices were very reasonable and on mark with most other places. Good selection of micros although no 3 floyds in sight so i was a bit disappointed there. Also to my dismay he had several big beers including some belgians and the like in the cold box... not proper in my opinion but he had very little space for shelving for those beers so he had to find a place for them i guess. All of his DFH WWS were in the cold box. no, no , no...The belgian and import selection was fairly meek but he had some big stars there, like 3 philosophers, urthel, uni, fantome and the like. No wee heavies at all. He did say he needs to get more selection on the belgian and import side as there is a market. Also had Thomas Hardy broken out in singles which i thought was nice since I can't seem to get Well's to break them out. I'm not paying $20 for a 4 pack when I may or may not like it. Anywho overall a very nice friendly store with decent pricing and specials. Celebration was on special $8.99 a 6. wow, most places its $9.99 at least. This is an up and coming star in my opinion.

I stopped in here once when I was in the area. I saw the glowing review here on Beerfly. I can't say I was impressed. It wasn't bad, but not what I was expecting. I guess there are not many good liquor stores in this part of Maryland. I might have been in there for a total of 2 minutes and has seen the entire beer selection. If you live in the area or go to school nearby, by all means check it out, but I can't recommend traveling far like I would for many other stores that I have visited just for the sake of beer.
