Penn Weizen glass. Yeast swirled in.
The pour looks nice. Eggy white head meringues on top of a cloudy goldenrod beer. Looks creamy and the head retention is superb. Delightful.
Strangely, it smells almost eggy. Custardy yeast, banana yogurt, white bread malts, light lemony sourness, and wheat. Very nice aroma for the lover of the banana-forward hefe!
Deliciously malty with big bready wheat and white bread notes. Banana custard, lemony twang, light peppery spice, some navel orange, and a hint of bitter dandelion roots. There's an herbal quality to the hops, which are still very light. Green apple and carrying banana in the finish. This might be the epitome of spring beer for me. Super!
Fortified mouthfeel; almost creamy in body with some side-mouthed carbonation sizzle that really sets it off. Exquisite.
I don't know if my palate has mutated, or what, but this makes my personal Top 5 Hefeweizens list. And, I'd like to think I've reviewed my fair share of the style after last summer's hefe project. Why didn't I run into this beaut during the warm season? I know where to find her now, and you better believe I'm coming back for more.
Reiteration: A perfect springtime beer!

Poured from a 500ml bottle into a large weizen glass in high elevation Kalispell, Mont. Reviewed live.
A- Three-finger white head with decent retention. Very clean looking head with a nice, cloudy, orange body. I was expecting it to look worse. So that's a nice thing to see. Loses points for lack of lacing.
S- Has the usual trappings of a hef, with the unfortunate nose of grass. Some cloves and banana.
T- Some hef characteristics. Relatively thin flavor.
M- Medium carbonation but a pretty light-bodied beer. Finishes sticky.
O- Look was above average, the beer fell after that though.

500ml bottle with no date. really cool label design, in my opinion. shows the ancient dudes who started the brewery? swirled into a flute glass
look is a very cloudy orange wheat color. smell is light and yeasty. taste is light and refreshing wheat, with lemon and sweet malt.

Presentation: 500mL brown bottle, served in a weizen glass.
Appearance: Develops a two finger head that goes down a bit and then stays there. It has a cloudy, pale yellow color.
Smell: The aroma has a refreshing fruit zest character to it, of lemon mainly. There's also faint malt, hop and yeast scents in the background.
Taste: Zesty citrus flavor mixed with some hop bitterness and a hint of malt sweetness. All of this followed up by a bit of yeast chalkiness in the background.
Mouthfeel: Dry, light, and refreshing, with little carbonation.
Overall: Just because it has a refreshing character, doesn't mean it's still not a flavorful beer. On the contrary, tt's great because it's versatile. You can just enjoy it on it's own, and really get into it, or just sip on it to cool down without giving it much though. You can also have it with food and it won't be a distraction, but it'll be more interesting than your average ale or lager. Just a good all around beer.

Appearance - light for a hefeweizen, a straw-yellow and very cloudy. About a quarter inch head, dissipates quickly. The retention didn't last long as I drank the glass
Smell - citrusy, more sour smelling than other hefeweizens I've had
Taste - like the smell, this beer seems to have a sour taste that lingers. Also the normal bready, banana-like tastes that are common of hefeweizens
Mouthfeel - pretty light for the style, but still pretty smooth. The carbonation was strange for a hefe, it seemed more like I was drinking an American lager
Overall - a decent hefeweizen, definitely different from most that I've had. I feel like the citrus of the beer was overwhelming to the normal hefeweizen flavors. Also, I feel like the lightness was a disadvantage as compared to others.

The palest Hefeweizen ever. Quite an attractive foam that clings to the tall glass. A pleasant sudsy mouthfeel. Lemony flavor without being too sharp. A slight bready flavor, I swear it's oyster crackers. Even kind of metallic. No hint of banana or clove in the nose.
On the whole, quite quaffable, but rather anemic for a Hefeweizen. I've had Witbiers with more German esters. The 750 ml bottles showed up at the non-mainstream Sprouts Market in San Diego. New label advertising the alleged organic certification seems to be the draw.

A very dull / pale pour. Very little head. Looks almost watered down.
Has a zesty fruity aroma. Tastes ver dry, yeasty with a lemon finish. Not a'beer worth savoring. However, an easy beer to drink with a hefty meal. After taste is minimal with lemon being the dominant flavor
