1pt .9 oz. bottle:
The beer poured a hazy, light golden color and produced a big, light fluffy head that was maintained nicely and dissolved into a very thin cap. Pretty much exactly what I would expect from a good German Pils.
The aroma was nice and robust, bready and grainy with hints of a citrus fruit, maybe lemon.
The taste of the beer was exactly what I would want from the style. Full flavor, which consisted of a nice complex grain taste, but is very well balanced with only a very slight hop presence. The beer is light, clean, crisp, and leaves a slightly dry aftertaste. Frankly, after I was done with that bottle, I was wishing that I had another. The ABV was not noticeable at all and this is a beer that I could drink all day. I will be heading back to the store for this one. Overall, an outstanding brew that is indeed, World Class.

Poured two fingers of head on a hazy, lighter straw colored body.
The aroma is great. Lots of grain with lemon and a little banana.
The taste is awesome too. It has a nice fruit flavor to it: banana and lemon again. There is a moderate bitterness back there too. Easy drinking.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
Enjoyable.

Served in a bottle at Pilsener Haus in Hoboken, NJ
A: Pours a hazy to cloudy pale yellow in color with moderate to heavy amounts of visible carbonation and some lemon yellow highlights. The beer has a half finger tall sudsy white head that reduces to a thin film covering the entire surface of the beer along with a thin to medium thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of bready and cereal grain malts with slightly light aromas of grassy and floral hops.
T: Similar to the smell, upfront this beer has a moderate strength combination of bready and cereal grain malts. After that there is a light amount of grassy and floral hops. A moderate amount of bitterness lingers in the finish of this beer.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Just a hint of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink and enjoyable but not as clean as a lot of other beers in this style (German Pilsener) - likely due to the fact that it seems to be unfiltered.

A-Pours a lemon/honey yellow with a thick, bright white head that dissipates slowly.
S-noble hops, slightly sweet, malty, and yeasty
T-similar to the nose: lemon, noble hops, more yeast and bread notes than expected, and slightly on the sweet side. The malts seem to slightly outweigh the hops, but good flavor.
M-nice and syrupy with just the right amount of carbonation
D-Even though it is slightly on the sweet side, one could definitely drink many of these in a session. Its a great session beer.
Overall, this is a pretty good German Pilsner. Its not as hoppy and doesn't have as much bite as other versions of the style, but its still worth a try. It is a steal for the price, $1.49 for about a pint size bottle.

poured into yuppie wine glass for analysis purposes
A: very transparent golden straw color. Looks like sunlight and is extremely beautiful. Small bubbles and rising. Alittle bit of sediment also. Pale white ring of head
S: Scents of sweet malt and yeast. Also fresh grass and light fruit. Faint scents of banana and sweet herbal hops. Great layered aroma.
T: Light malt and alot of grass and grain on the palate. Alittle bit of stale bread also...herbal spices and mellow fruit. Surprisingly hop-bitter on the backend, extremely satisfying. Aftertaste is of bready dough, not bad though
M: Bright carbonation makes this beer palate cleansing. Crisp and medium to full bodied. Dry
O: I know i'm young to German Pilsners but this one might take the cake. Great layers of malt and hops make this borish looking beer extremely complex. Carbonation is spot on also making this beer perfect for summertime evening and late night extravaganzas. Too bad its march but soon I'll be drinking this in june. thx

Picked this one up at Whole Foods today.. Poured into my HotD goblet... slightly hazed straw yellow.. good white head and retention.
Nose is pale maltiness with some significant sulfur/DMS... Hops break through and reveal a bit of spicy/earthy notes.
Flavor is sorta flat pils malt balanced only by just enough hop bitterness and not enough hop flavor.. seems very flimsy.. again there is a pronounced sulfur/corny note that lingers mid-palate to the finish.
Body seems a touch heavy, carbonation seems a little light.
Maybe an old bottle, but I am still unimpressed.
