Milky, cloudy yellow color beneath some scant white foam. Fragrant rosemary hits the nose pretty hard in a savory, herbal, one-dimensional sort of way. A little weird for me, as I kept thinking "meat" when smelling it. Much less of the herb in the flavor, but otherwise very light with some tangy wheat, perhaps a bit of salinity and tartness, and some trailing fresh grain. Crisp and refreshing, but not my favorite. Props for brewing an obscure style. Rosemary is such a pungent ingredient though and it just doesn't work that well for me in a beer.

Poured on tap into a snifter glass at Churchkey DC. From notes.
A real murky yellow and brown body, with a fairly decent off white 2mm collar.
Bouquet just explodes. This is easily the best smelling beer using rosemary I've ever feasted on. The rosemary just washes over everywhere and it smells fantastic. Melding with it and complimenting is some mild honey sweetness, and just a hint of salt brine character. It smells absolutely wonerful.
Palate fills with rosemary with a light white bread finish. Good salinity on this one which is quite noticeable, but luckily doesn't detract from the flavor. Body is a bit wet though without much chewy density, it's a bit thin. The salt and rosemary make a nice crispness though with a wonderful compliment.
If there was more depth to this, this beer might very well have been my favorite Gose ever.
