Poured from a bomber into a clean rinsed tulip glass. Not much foam, only a thin layer, which seems like the antithesis of anything Belgian. Dark dishwater brownish orange, color is a little odd, when backlit its more of a murky dark orange. Little to no lacing. Looks pretty meh.

Smells a bit fruity, some apricot and a whiff of bubblegum when the bottle was opened. Some sweetness and a hint of floral spices.

Taste is a bit sweet, with some fruity esters and light hints of nebulous spice. Grains of paradise seems high in the mix, coriander in the aftertaste. Carbonation ebbs away quickly, and the last glass was pretty watery. It's not very assertive or unique, and a little sweet and flabby. I'll cut them some slack since this is the first bottled batch, but I can't say it really makes much of an impression.

Pours a hazy yellow with a white cap receding quickly and lo-med carbonation.

Aromas of lemon zest and yeast. Spices of coriander and clove. Tannins of white grape. Some funk and sour going on. I could smell this all day long.

Lemon zest is satiating. Definite coriander and some clove. Astringent fruit and the yeast becomes prominent as it comes up in temp..

This satiates the mouth and is a tad cloying. Almost no carbonation at the end.

This reminds me of a likeness to a summer shandy, but less sweet and thicker. This is one I could only have one at a time as I find it filling. Decent brew nonetheless. I would buy again.

22oz bomber, pours orangy in color with a very thin layer of foam for a head, a little does stick to the glass as lacing, but it's minimal. Very floral, sweet nose with some fruity Belgian yeast aromas, grape, apple, chardonnay, faint orange zest, and spice. Tastes are complex with notes of apple and grape juice, orange zest, the lavender is definitely present and actually pleasant as it brings a delicacy to the ale, coriander provides a spiciness to it, while the grains of paradise provide a pepperiness similar to white pepper in the finish. Lower carbonation than expected, smooth, creamy, thin-to-medium body, finishes semi-dry but very clean. Overall, the lavender gets to be quite overpowering and almost air freshener-like (it does better for aroma than flavor), but it is unique enough to stand out and all of the ingredients and flavors do meld well together. For the price ($8.99), I was expecting more, but unfortunately this does seem to be the going rate for new brewers and their bombers in the Chicagoland area. Gotta survive somehow. I look forward to trying some of their other beers.

Aroma right off the bat of opening the bottle coriander and funk hits the nose. The look is a typical farmhouse style, with great carbonation. Awesome taste. Glad to support local beers, would grab again and again!! Can't wait to try other styles from them!!
