Pours a clear pale straw color with lots of rising bubbles racing towards a modest cotton-white head. The aromas of a black pepper-like spicy hop and light earthy grain blend together to make the mouth water. The taste is a light crisp clean carb/hop bite with a repeat of the earthy grain notes. After smelling this, I was expecting more from the taste. It is milder than the aromas insinuate. The mouthfeel is thin and on the watery side and finishes faintly sweet. Its just an ok beer IMHO. Cheers!

Appearance: Clear brassy golden color with a small white head that quickly fades to scattered islands of foam. Lots of fat bubbles rise lazily to the surface.
Aroma: Relentlessly sweet, perfumed, wine-like aroma, similar to that of Golden Eagle, another Indian beer. Nestled within this strong aroma there are hints of malt that struggle to make themselves known.
Taste: Quite mild carbonation glides across the tongue, followed by grainy and earthy malts that turn sweet. Slight dark fruit notes appear later in the taste, a dimly seen specter of the exotic aroma. Finish is dry and a bit bitter.
Mouth feel: Somewhat watery, although not unpleasant.
Drinkability/notes: A most unusual beer, one that is far removed from North American or European styles. Freshness information: Best before 5/2003.

Pours a golden amber color with a thin and bubbly white head that soon dissipates into a trace amount of lace. Nose is lightly toasted malts and grains with a touch of caramel. Light in body with a thin mouthfeel. Taste is sweet malts balanced by some mildly bitter hops. An easy drinking beer but nothing special.

Pours Very golden and clear. The head is very effervescent and quick to rise then settles to almost non-existence. The nose is of malt and moderate hops. The flavor is very hopped but not bitter with a smooth carbonated mouthfeel. The malt flavor is fairly complex and quite enjoyable. Overall a very good beer.
