Bottle pour at the post-FWIBF bottle share held at the Adelaide Inn in Paso Robles, CA.

Thanks to mrbubbler for sharing this one.

Pours a murky whitish-yellow with a foamy white head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is sour with funk, parmesan cheese, and vomit aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly sour lemon, funk, and parmesan cheese flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a low level of carbonation with an almost flat mouthfeel. Overall, this is an awful beer that is super cheesy and funky in the worst ways possible.

This beer never should have been bottled. It tastes of a poorly managed sour mash.

Opened this with esbauer68. $5.60 at Chucks Hopshop. It poured turbid and milky, with an inch of sludge left in the bottle. Not appetizing. Never seen a beer, not even low-floc wheat, look like that.

The aroma was fecal, with a hefty dose of vomit. Vomit smell distinctive of butyric acid. Not sour, and not "funky." Not even "baby diaper." Just poopy puke.

I love funky beer, and I have consumed a lot of berlinerweiss, and this was totally wrong.

This brewer is new on the scene and looks to be a small operation, so I feel bad condemning his product, but this beer is a mistake. It is hard to trust a brewer who would take money for such an obvious drain-pour. (If I give him the benefit of the doubt, perhaps he hoped that brettanomyces would "clean up" the butyric acid over time. However, it still should not have been sold for immediate consumption if so.)

The baby diaper and barf review above was spot on. My bottle had an inch of sediment in the bottom, beer was still amazingly cloudy. To be honest I couldnt get past the smell to even try a bit. Really dissapointing. I love a good funky sour berliner but this is all wrong and shouldn't even be on the shelves.

A: Poured a super cloudy, yeasty straw color with good carbonation leaving a nice white cap, lacing, bubbles but with floaties.

S: Baby diaper, lacto, barf, wheat and lemons...not the most plesant nose and definitely not good for a berliner

T: Initial baby diaper with some lacto and wheat, tartness rocks the palate as does this obnoxious lingering bitterness from start to finish. Additional tasting highlights of stale hay and citrus

M: Well, carbonation is ok, but thats about it. The God awful taste just lingers on the palate.

O: I have only had a few examples of this style but from the first sip we knew this was all wrong. Avoid at all costs.
