A farmhouse rye ale with a complex spice character derived from both the attenuative yeast blend and the use of Valley Danko Rye. Sterling dry hops lend a floral hop note.
MALT: American 2 Row Malt, Valley Danko Rye, Crystal Rye, Dark Crystal, Turbinado Sugar

Tawny brown body with a faded white ring. Huge rye nose with sugary caramel malts, pale grains, belgian yeast with fruit esters and a touch of hay. Busy but holds together. Taste adds earth, hot spice of some kind, orange, grass, and bitter hops, which all together while complex is at war with itself, coming across as messy on the palate. Feel is most rye driven with some warmth and yeastiness. A sneaky robust beer that surely does feature rye but didn't make the necessary edits to streamline the vision

Pours cloudy near opaque burnt orange dark amber with a fluffy creamy light khaki colored head. Smells like apples, banana, spice, some dried apricot and prunes, mild funk, caramel, toffee, molasses, brown sugar, with mild earthy grass and floral pine. Tastes like apples and spice, mild banana, roasted cereal grain, some toffee, chocolate, caramel malt, molasses, brown sugar, with some orange citrus, apricots, dried dark fruit, earthy grass, and floral pine. Feels medium-full bodied, creamy with moderate low carbonation. Overall a really interesting and unique tasting brew.
