Nice deep orange-copper color with nice head, it has a wonderfully sweet-malty and bitter-hoppy aroma. Great flavors, with excellent pale sweet malts and nice deep crystal toffee/caramel tones; excellent hops with great citrus/grapefruit and pine flavors. Goes down well, with that nice hop rough feel. Good stuff!

On tap at Twenty Tap. I was glad as I've been trying to find this for a few weeks. This is one of Indy's newest beers and it is really good. The beer is an orange-amber color, suggesting a lot of caramel malt, and has a nice sticky head. A little hazy. The aroma is big and full of citrus, pine, classic west-coast IPA smells. Well done. The taste follows with a good malt, caramel backbone that is very well balanced with the hop flavors. Noticeable bitterness towards the finish - about right for me. Pleasant, medium-body. Overall a very solid IPA that raises the bar for Indianapolis' regular-availability IPA's.

On tap at The Tap in Bloomington
Pours somewhat murky orange with a few reddish hues. Nice 2 finger off-white head with decent lacing and retention.
Classic American hop presence in the aroma. Some citrusy fruit with pine and a little floral essence.
Very well balanced flavor. Crisp citrus up front, but there is a strong bready malt backbone that is not as evident in the nose. Finishes with a bit of grapefruit and pine, but not overly bitter. My girlfriend who hates most IPA's even enjoyed the balance on this one.
Creamy mouthfeel. Medium bodied with good carbonation.
Solid beer from a new brewer who appears to be doing things right so far. It was advertised as a West Coast IPA which I wouldn't necessarily agree with since it had more malt than is typical of that sub-genre. What it is though is a extremely well balanced smooth IPA and a superb beer for a brand new brewery.
