16oz draft specials at the Dutch Tavern in Louisville, KY.

A: Cloudy orange amber body with some golden highlights flashing through when held to light; the head is white, sticky and about a finger in depth.

S: Notes of sweet citrus fruitiness mixed with some light spiciness from coriander and cloves. Also that familiar musky wheat husk aroma is in the mix. This glass was served with the typicial orange slice on the rim which likely accentuates the citrus notes in the beer, making the orange/tangerine aromas seem more prominent in the overall profile. Without the fresh orange slice on the rim, it seems like the nose is more muted - the fresh orange definitely improves the overall aroma, but that's peripheral to the beer itself.

T: Not bad with a good blend of citrus notes mingling with light, crisp wheat flavors and a dash of clove like spices. Flavors are light and crisp and fairly refreshing. Finish brings out more wheat-like flavors and just some residual, rind-like citrus notes that linger on the tongue.

M: Medium carbonation keeps this beer feeling lively on the palate; crisp all around.

D: Not hard to finish off a 16oz glass as the flavors are light and the alcohol is non-existent. Not the best witbier out there, but definitely not a bad alternative, especially since this beer can be found at any number of restaurants and dive bars

Decent for a macro witbier. Again, not the best by any means, but I'll settle for one at a restaurant or bar when nothing else looks good on the tap/bottle list.
