This is cool new spot right around the corner from my house. That bar tenders, manager, and waitresses are very cool. I have been in multiple times since they have opened and got to try a decent amount of their stuff.

Beer- They usually have at least 4 of their own beers on. Seems like a mix of standard and experimental Belgian and American beers. The Belgian stuff is pretty good but not mind blowing. I would say their American styles have impressed me the most. I have seen multiple brett and barrel beers. They definitely are not scared of sours and love treatments which is cool. Other than their beers they have at least 40 taps of guest. Good quality stuff on the wall.

People- like I said everyone is pretty friendly and welcoming. The manager "Shawn" always says hi when I roll in for a taste. They have a brewer too who is always up for a chat over a beer.

Facility- The lay out is like a regular bar or brew pub. They have a good amount of seating inside and a patio as well, plus a full bar. I like their liquor selection too, lots of cool Colorado whiskeys, small distilleries. This brew pub has a kitchen behind the bar and then the brew house in the basement. I got the tour and the brew house was cool, kept really clean and organized. They have some barrels sitting down there too.

Food- I have not tired a lot of the menu cause we try not to spend money on food but I will say I have had the guac and the sliders. The guac was terrible... seemed like it was straight out of the freezer or can. The sliders are epic though, def legit. I love the brisket. Well done, quality snack for sure. Not too cheap though. I like to snag a few when I can.

Overall- Black Bottle is a great new addition to the famous craft beer city of Ft. Collins. I really like spending time their and the best thing is they are a brew pub so they are open till 12am during the week and 2am on the weekend. Plus you can take your non beer geek friends cause they have a full bar.

First visit to BBB, I've been looking forward to getting back up to FC to try this place out.

First thing's first: the beer: I found the BBB beers to be average overall. Recession Proof porter had some roasted flavor to it but was watery and thin. I'm not expecting a stout, but some viscosity would be nice. Also tried Roll the windows Down Dad : respectable smoked beer, light bandaid taste. And I'm Barely Wine: I'm not super familiar with BWs, but I thought it was good, nice mix of hop and malt.
All 3 were OK, but nothing stood out.
Having a multitude of guest beers, quite frankly, saves it.
Beer prices were on target for the average brewery.

Our complaint was with our food. It wasn't bad, just very lackluster and expensive for what we got. Paying $8 and $11 for Mac and Cheese dishes, we fully expect to get one hell of a bowl of mac and cheese for those prices (ala Rackhouse). We both had the same complaint about our respective dishes: cheap boxed pasta (not expecting fresh-made, but something resembling quality) with artificial tasting cheese-like product. For the money it either better be freaking delicious or get quantity: they were neither.

The place had a nice layout and atmosphere, if the weather had been better we would have loved to sit outside on their patio. The staff was quick and attentive.

We may visit again on our next FC visit, but we will definitely eat someplace else.

It's all about the beer.
I tried several, its great that you can get a nice taste for 2 bucks.
The selection was great and the folks behind the bar answered my questions happily.

I was only in town for a few days and this was a memorable stop, I'll be back.

Upscale beer list. Not to mention the American Classics like Schlitz and PBR in a can or a red Solo cup. You can get a 40 in a brown bag even! A must stop brewery with some great food to pair up with that nice libation. No only does Black Bottle sell their own brews but they sell other brews whether local or not. Wine and mixed drinks are also on the menu.

A new brewey/beer bar/pub.
The place is neither large nor small. Things are nice and shiny, not quite fancy but effort was placed in maintaining a higher quality appearance. They had 4 taps of their own beer and 36 taps of high quality guest taps. Great selection. Service varies depending on the bartender/server, but has gotten better. Pricing is rather typical for a craft beer, an improvement from how it started out. Their $1.99 sliders are the perfect drinking meal; affordable, nicely sized, and super tasty. Addictive. Overall, another nice spot in Fort Collins.
