A: Nice jet black appearance with a slight head off the pour, but dissipates a little quick.
S: A very nice heavy dark roasted character hits you right away with an almost burnt aroma, mixed it with a light smoke and chocolate that gives it an extra little kick. No noticeable hop aroma or fruit esters detected.
T: Taste is very similar to the smell with all of the complexity of the malt, but has a sharp bitterness on the end
M: Med-to-heavy body, slightly chewy, but has a velvet finish.
O: Well done, but I could do with a with less bitterness on the back end, a touch bit more concentration of the flavors and aroma from the hops, and higher gravity since it rings in at the bare minimum for a RIS

Batch #3. Thanks to djcorrao for the bottle.
Appearance: Black. Perfectly black. Dark tan head starts of massive, creamy, and dense. Drops to a small creamy collar after a few minutes. No cap. Minimal carbonation on the pour. Some spots of lacing. Pours thick.
Smell: Seriously roasted barley. Touches of burnt malt with some char in the back. Big roasted sweetness. Some small hints of citrus linger in the back. Leather and some caramel malts as well. Vaguely earthy on the finish. Big hits of dark cocoa. Some backing anise. A solid depth, with an insane amount of roast.
Taste: Huge hit of deeply roasted barley. Baker's chocolate and dark cocoa. Some backing burnt malt pushing some char and ash. A hint of citrus and herbal hops on the back. Almost has an English kind of mineral kick on the finish. Restrained hop bitterness. As it warms it gets a bit sweeter and pushes harder on the dark chocolate flavors. Kind of meaty.
Mouthfeel: Pushes full, but ultimately settles on the heavier side of medium. A moderate carbonation. Slick and oily. Dryish finish.
Overall: I might give myself a cuddle, but no funny business.
A solid RIS. A good amount of flavor and depth without being too burly to drink in a sitting.

Batch 8
A: Gorgeous oily opaque black pour - slips out of the bottle and forms a creamy mocha head.
S: Heavily roasted coffee and bitter dark chocolate hit first, then some raisin and caramel, some slight vanilla sweetness.
T: Big roasted coffee and dark chocolate, some ash. Milk chocolate sweetness and caramel in the middle of the mouth. A pretty bitter and ashy russian imperial stout
P: Very smooth. M/F bodied
O: A really awesome beer. Spiteful is off to an awesome start

22oz, Batch 7
Riedel unmarked tulip
A: Pours really dark black in color. Full finger of dark tan head. Nice tight layer. Starts to fade a little. Tight bubbles. Some lacing and alcohol feet.
S: Getting chocolate and coffee on the nose first and foremost. Ground coffee. Light roast. Then you do get some piney hops.
T: Some chocolate and hop bitterness up front. Taste those fuggles and Cascade on the tongue. Nice bitter coffee too. Milk chocolate.
M: Full bodied.
