Notes:
Traditional in concept with a Two Roads twist…dry hops. We use a combination of classic German as well as American hop and malt varieties in our Pils. We renovated a 100 year-old factory building and designed this Pils to have “extra” aroma…so, pardon the pun! Crisp…refreshing…refined.

12oz bottle. Pours a translucent light straw color with a half inch of head. Very little lacing. The aroma is of spicy hops, grass and sweet bread. The taste is more of the same. Bready at first followed by some spicy hops. Some floral notes along with some sourdough bread. Slightly bitter. Has a bit of a sour flavor to it. Mouthfeel is light and crisp. A little hoppier than most beers of this style. Overall, its not a bad beer to grab once in awhile.

12oz can, purchased at the brewery yesterday. Thanks Drew!
A: Clear, radiant pale amber body under two fingers of white froth. Retention is only so-so, though, and what lace there is is quite soapy. Above average, but less than great.
S: Sulfur and mineral yeast are front and center, with herbal hops and faint biscuity malt also playing their parts. Pretty standard, and not nearly as hoppily aromatic as the name and description would suggest.
T: Significantly better here, as the floral and herbal hops jump out up front, followed by a more substantial malt backbone. The lager yeast combines with spicy hops bitterness on the finish to close things with crisp minerality. Dry, hoppy aftertaste. Refreshing.
M: On the thin side of medium-bodied, with a moderate amount of lively carbonation. Pretty good.
O: Pretty nice little Pils, but I'll stick with freshly-canned Elm City for my local lager fix.
Cheers!

A - Straw body, thick fluffy white head has great retention and good lace. Slight haze in the body, though.
S/T - Fragrant, just as the name suggests. Floral, grassy hops with some lemon sweetness, clove, herbal, grainy pale malts. More of a hop forward pils.
M - Light body, lively carbonation yet maintains a smooth consistency and finishes crisp and clean with moderate bitterness for the style.
O - Nicely surprised with this new one out of CT. Great depth of hop aroma.
