this was served on tap. gold color with steady carbonation. about a half inch of head with decent retention. good lacing down the glass. smells of grain and a bit of lemon and hops. taste is very crisp and refreshing. this could be my everyday beer if it was available in bottle. overall a very good pils.

On tap at BJ’s in Allen, Texas. The beer pours a clear yellow color with a white head. The aroma is heavy on the wheat and pilsner malt. The flavor is similar, with a lot of the pilsner malt and grass coming through. There is also a little bit of earth and a hint of light citrus. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Not bad.

Had at BJ's in El Paso, TX.
A: served a clear light golden color with a white head that faded to some lacing.
S: Very mild aroma of fresh grain with a trace of spicy sweetness.
T: The taste also on the mild side. Sort of a mixture of fresh grain with a slight malt sweetness. A touch of bitternessand a dry finish.
F: Light body, crisp and clean. A bit refreshing on a hot day.
D: Nice drinker that goes best with food. Good for a few as it goes down easy. Not one of BJ's better efforts, aimed at the BMC drinkers.

A-very light gold, thin white head, very bubbly
S-honey and a bit of hops, not very strong smelling
T-very gross with a weird bitter taste to it...not a good bitterness. has a creamy taste to it as well. overall this is quite the let down of a pilsner....there's not much of a taste to it at all
M-medium carbonation with a dry finish
D-after the first sip, i wanted it to be over. way too light tasting and disappointing

Pint glass shows a mostly clear, light gold color with a thin layer of white foam. Some decent lace clings to the glass as I slurp this one down.
Nose is spicy saaz hoppy with a touch of grainy malt. Pretty decent pilsner nose on it with just the slightest hint of sour malt...not enough to be distracting though.
Hops are pretty prevalent and taste like maybe a blend of saaz and hallertau - grassy, floral and slightly herbaceous. Malts are pretty big for a pils and lend a little weight to the brew, almost like a bit of light nuttiness. Not bad, interesting, is it bohemian style? Light touch of lemony citrus in there as well. Pretty fresh tasting and a fairly nice take on the pilsner style.

Had at BJs in El Paso. Pale golden color with minimal head and poor retention. Moderate lacing. Doesn't smell like much of anything. Taste features mellow malt and crips hop bite. Balanced, but not hoppy enough for a pils. Finishes smooth with no aftertaste. Very drinkable.

I tried this beer in Mcallen, TX.
I received my beer with a mild head and some subpar retention. There was a nice clear golden color to it.
The smell is very faint with pale malts and noble hops.
The flavor to this beer is fairly simple and clean with pale german malts. There is a balancing noble hop bitterness that is less than aggressive. However, there is a bit of DMS in the brew. I know this beer is contract brewed by Saint Arnold, so I'm a little bit disappointed in them. The lagers that I've had at BJ's have a DMS problem.
The mouthfeel is semi crisp, but the cooked vegetable taste of the DMS seems to take away from the overall experience.
This is a no frills lager with obvious brewing flaws. I would pass on this one if you go to BJ's in Texas.

this is a very smooth beer that pairs well with food in my experience. appearance is light golden. smell is fresh, a little hoppyness. the taste is fairly clean, with some citrus and a liitle hop bitterness. not my favotite from bj's but not bad for pislner.

Light to medium gold with an apple juice like malty sweetness with a light pleasant yeast presence as well. Crisp carbonation with a sweet and tart malt flavor. Mild bitterness that helps the beer progress into an all around nice pilsner. Pretty good, I thought, and very drinkable.

Appearance: clear golden yellow in color. A short brilliant white 1/2" head lasted a bit.
Smell: the aroma was basically non-existant, even with my nose stuck in the glass.
Taste: dull, as thin malt level, hints of hay, and very mild bitterness were the only flavor components.
Mouthfeel: crisp at the start and finish. The finish was also very clean. Very thin bodied.
Drinkability: down in my book because of the dull flavor and I was not inspired to finish my pint.

This rotating offering was discovered at the Brea location.
The beer arrived across the bar in a blaze of brilliant, hazy yellow with a cap of white foam. The foam collar proved to have staying power of almost magical proportions and lasted straight through the duration of the entire brew.
The aroma sprang forth with notes of wonderful earthy malt with just a hint of yeast. CO² streamers from the bottom of the class seem to be in endless supply, constantly refortifying the foam collar.
The taste is straight from the malt room with a nice hop balance. Mid-taste yielded yeasty notes while the finish is punctuated with a crisp hop bite.
Upon completion of the wonderful golden brew, I couldn't help but note that the exquisite lacing on the glass as it was some of the best I've ever seen from a Pils.
