In the city of Ashtabula a shining star emits from the harbor of this small town in Ohio. Briquettes smokehouse orders up authentic hefty sizes of real pit barbeque and monthly specials that
never disappoint. Aside from their awesome pork, chicken, brisket, and ribs they also have some of the best chili and Brunswick stew you can find anywhere. Definitely a BBQ lovers dream.

Aside from being a kickin' soul and Barbeque restaurant, their new beer-bar addition is one of the only, and one of the best beer-bars to head to in Ashtabula if you're looking for an extensive list of flagship beers and their limited edition, special release beers. The prices are quiet reasonable considering the limited availability of some of their beers, but I suggest bringing some cash, because you'll want to try every beer they have.

The quality of the food is beyond any expectations. There is a wonderful selection of crafts beers to go along with anything on the menu. The staff at the beer bar is has a very knowledagable grasp on all beers availble. I highly recommend going there..

Meats smoked in house and all their sauces made on premises. I could recommend everything on their menu but here are some of my favorites: Mississippi caviar, smoked brisket, pulled pork, and chicken. Can't forget their coleslaw and Brunswick stew, my son loves their mac'n cheese.

Briquette's beer bar staff and atmosphere are second to none. There's not a better or bigger hand picked selection of craft beers available in our county. All this coupled with Ashtabula's Bridge Street, makes for a great night out. I've heard their open mic nights on Friday bring out some of the finest musical talent around.
