Picked up a few bottles (2 for $3, labeled Czechvar, thanks for the alias InBev) on my first visit to Food Town in Kensington, Brooklyn. I have exactly exactly 10 months to drink this bottle as the best before date is marked 01.17.2012.

A - Looks like a lager; perhaps slightly deeper gold complexion.
S - Spicy with hints of green grass and lemon.
T - Sustained spiciness with a nice bitter undertone throughout; though marked as a lager it has pilsner qualities.
M - Lacking; almost instantaneously drops from the palette.
O - Drinkable, smooth and flavorful this is a great summer starter.

Not a bad beer, decent for the price I guess. Have never seen this in my area, so bought a 16 oz can when I travelled to Ottawa. Nothing out of this world, but it's ok. Didn't have the bad aftertaste that so many mid-level beers seem to have nowadays. Pretty smooth going down, decent flavor.

Bottle 0,5l

A - Tick two finger white foam,lasting minute or two. Bright clear orange color. Medium carbonation. Classic Pilsener.

S - Excellent light grains aroma with citrus in the back.

T/M - One of the most drinkable beers i ever had. Very balanced,clean and medium bitter aftertaste. Crisp and refreshing.

O - One of the best Pilseners.

Pours clear deep golden beer, sparkling, with 1-finger off-white head. Distinctive sweet honey and floral smell. Clear sweet malty taste with tones of manure and nice herbal bitter finish on the other hand. Well-balanced, medium-bodied classic czech pilsener. A legend of the style.

Into a pilsener:

A: golden yellow body with a four finger white foamy head that rises and falls and leaves some nice speckled lightly foamy lacing gracing the sides of the pilsener, carbonation is seen rising

S: spicy hops up front, light sweetness once it warms a bit

T: balanced spicy sweetness, good for the style, smooth dry crisp aftertaste and finish

M: light to medium, sessionable - probably very good with food, adequate carbonation

O: pretty good Czech Pilsener if you like 'em, hey go for this one, I'd have it again. This is Budweiser, wow, I'm impressed - kudos to them.
