Was best when Trevor was making it in the garage. This is the way.

I think 87 is a nice score for this one because 88 would be Taylor Swift status - and Raul ain’t gonna go there. Maybe it’s a Taylor B-side - the one where the captain of the football team picks up the county bike instead of Taylor and goes for a ride with her “Splendor in the Grass” style. Yeah, that’d be cool.
Get in where you fit in, my minions.
*As I sipped, this one tickled the pickle even more. It’s a goodie.

667 bottled 08/12/2021 pours an light orange color with about a 2 finger head. A heavy citrus aroma and light malt smelling makes for a real pleasant smell. Excellent blend of hops and malt. The heavy citrus taste is very nice and just a hint of bitterness on the back end. Kind of a thin mouthfeel but smooth and easy drinking. Overall I think I like this as much as Yellow Rose. Lemme drink a few. 11/12/2021 also bottled 08/12/2021 Has become usually available and fresh enough. The bitterness is so perfect with this beer. Teeth sucking, tongue licking, lip smacking bitter. In a very good way. Love it. Consistent.

Lone pint makes a good brew and IPA, and this is no exception. Blended caramel and bready malts accented by forward hops flavors. Not as good as the yellow rose, IMO, but definitely tasty anyway.

Bottled gifted from my buddy, dated 08/18/2020 into a tulip glass.
Its held up really well, citrus forward with some subtle breadiness. Subtle hazy golden, with 1+ finger of white medium density head with good retention and left sticky windshield lacing. Plenty of bitterness, moderate bodied with medium carbonation.
I'd love to try this fresher, but I'm digging it as is. While it isn't in the same tier as Yellow Rose, it's a tasty West Coast for my palate and preferences.

Once again I read A nonsensical review describing this as “red” of all things. It is in no way red, the fuktard that wrote that was either stupid or inebriated. Hopefully the free speech moderators will ban me. Lol. The color is actually shit, hazy scummy yellow with big chunks of yeast swirling around in it. It smells great, slightly dank, citrus, pine, good American hop smell you’d expect.
Taste is really good, very well balanced between malt and hop. Somewhere between brown sugar and honey with the surge of hops. It’s a great Texas IPA, that said, Texas IPA’s are primarily California IPA’s. Perhaps slightly more malty. There’s really nothing to criticize with this ale, unless your such a pussy that the fucked up color throws you off, if that’s the case you’re a hopeless douchebag. Peace out everybody, keep it real.

I grabbed a single of this at Central Market last week and have been looking forward to trying it out. Lone Pint's Yellow Rose IPA is delicious, and I have high hopes for this as well.
Pours a hazy opaque dirty orange color, like an apricot has been strained and this is the leftover skin. But when held up to the window and blessed by natural light, that orange hue blossoms like a spring wildflower. Really pretty color that you don't see unless you help illuminate it. The nose is complex, alternating between rich malty sweetness (more clearly defined by vanilla cake and caramel) and fresh fruit (orange, pineapple, faint grapefruit). I love this aroma. The taste is nice and well-balanced, with a very even piney hop presence Smooth mouthfeel.
I like this beer. Maybe not as much as their Yellow Rose IPA, but I like it. Smooth, refreshing and balanced. The folks at Lone Pint know how to brew a fine IPA. Let's hope they continue to do so for years to come. Cheers.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a clear golden color with a small white head. The head fades quite fast leaving a touch of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is strongest of some tropical fruit smells of pineapple and tangerine along with some smells of a grapefruit hop. Along with these aromas comes a little bit of a grass and pine smell as well.
Taste – The taste begins with a doughy taste that has a bit of tropical fruit and caramel sweetness. The tropical fruits are mostly of pineapple and tangerine but contains a little bit of mango as well. Along with these tastes is a bit of grapefruit and some herb. As the taste advances the grapefruit becomes more bitter with the herbal hop getting more potent. At the same time the sweeter fruit tastes become more potent and more syrupy in flavor, with the mix of flavors leaving one with a sweeter and moderately hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is average in thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is rather average. For the more fruity taste of the brew the thicker feel is rather well matching to the more syrupy flavors and creates a rather nice medium for the flavors to be well appreciated.
Overall – A rather pleasurable IPA overall. Nothing out of the ordinary, but it delivers a nice hop hit and fruity taste all while still being rather easy drinking overall.
