First off, Bourbon Blue is not a beer bar, although that would be a great idea. They'd have to add more taps though. And although they are changing their direction to include more craft beers, they still run their $3 U-Call-It and Light beer bottle specials on weekends. It's still basically a college bar after the dinner service ends.
They've got some good beers though, so let's take a look at their spring beer selections...
There are six taps: Abita, Blue Moon, Sierra Nevada, Sam Adams Seasonal and Miller Lite.
Their bottle offerings include 9 American standards (Yuengling, Miller Lite, Miller High Life, Coors Light, Michelob Ultra, Budweiser, Bud Light, Redbridge Gluten Free, and O'Douls n.a.), 7 imports (Corona, Amstel Light, Heineken, Stella Artois, Chimay Grand Reserve, Delerium Nocturnum, and a framboise), and 5 craft beers (Bells Two Hearted, Weyerbacher Merry Monks, Southern Tier Hop Sun, and Lagunitas' Little Sumpin Sumpin).
They've also got 5 average to decent cans (Paulaner Hefeweizen, Guinness, Sly Fox Pale Ale, 21st Amendment's Brew Free or Die, and Oskar Blues Little Yella Pils).
As for the rest of the restaurant, it's very nice with some great food. I would recommend it. But if you're on Main Street looking for a good beer head to either Lucky's Last Chance or the Manayunk Brewery & Restaurant.
