purchased a 24 oz can for .99 at Wegmans on 4/25/13.
poured from a can into a mug, served at fridge temp.
lemon yellow with a 1 finger white head that leaves almost no lacing.
aroma: standard adjunct hops and yeast.
mouthfeel: surprisingly good.
taste: not a lot of flavor, but the little bit is decent.
notes: really not bad, easy to drink. Low abv makes this a lawnmower's session beer.

I drank a couple of these in a place where I shouldnt've been, served by a waitress who called me 'honey' and 'sweetheart'. I thought that I was going to get a Genny Cream Ale, but I went with it. 12oz bottle poured into a pint glass.
A- So light in yellow-straw color that I thought it had a hint of greenish hue. It did pour a decent head and even left some spotty lacing.
S- Clean the litter box, please!
T- Better than the smell. Some corn sweetness, a touch of maltiness (I think).
M- Quite light with a unpleasantly sour finish.
O- I've had worse, so I may even cross paths with this again. What the heck.

A - Poured very clear yellow with a massive frothy white head. Left no lacing.
S - Light corn, Seltzer, water, paper
T - Virtually the same as the nose. Some light corn in the beginning, With a very watery finish.
M - Watery body with medium carbonation.
O - Overall, Just another light adjunct. Oh well, This stuff is $1 for a 24oz can virtually anywhere you go so you get what you pay for.

Poured from can into a pint glass
Appearance – Pours a light straw color with a huge white head. The head fades very rapidly to leave only a tiny amount of lacing.
Smell – The aroma is of a malt and a light corn and bready nature with some papery smells mixed within.
Taste – The taste starts out with some caramel and corn sweetness. There is a light bready taste up front as well. These flavors create a base and remain rather constant throughout the taste. Only toward the end dose a lighter bittering hop come to the tongue and with a slight fading of the sweetness, it leaves a rather drier and crisp feeling on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The beer’s body is quite light and watery and the carbonation level is rather high. Both are good for the style as they make for a very refreshing and easy drinking brew.
Overall – While certainly not the most flavorful, it is rather refreshing and at only $1.29 for a 24 oz can it makes for a great session brew.

Genny Light has a thick, stark-white head and a clear, bubbly, golden-straw appearance, with splotchy lacing left behind. The aroma is of musty, sour grains, grain husks, and faint grape juice. Taste is of sweet and sour grain, faint grape, and corn meal. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Genny Light finishes decently crisp and refreshing. This is a budget beer, and it presents itself as such.
