Poured this English Pale Ale into a pint glass. It poured a clear orangish color, produced a average head, white, average amount of lacing left behind on the glass. The aroma of the ale was very earthy, traces of malted grain and hops. The taste of this ale was light in body, butterscotch and caramel shined through. Some citrus hoppyness at the finish. Overall easy to drink, decent session beer but just nothing outstanding here.

Big slightly off white head slow recedes above a clear bright golden well carbonated beer.
Light lightly roasted grain malts lend an earthiness to the aroma.
Light grain malts taste with just a bit of grassiness or something similar to that coming through as well.
A light dry aftertaste without much taste of anything hanging around with this light bodied beer.
A very light beer without a unpleasant aftertaste like a lot of lighter American beers have.

Bought as part of Dundee's Ales & Lagers Seasonal Pack from Southtown Beverage on 4/26/13. Case price was $ 17.99.
poured from a 12 oz bottle into a nonic. Served at cool Temp.
appearance: light amber with a one finger head. Nice lacing.
aroma: faint with a slight earthy hoppiness.
mouthfeel: thinnish..
taste: bready with a touch of diacetyl and a real earthy taste.
notes: servicable, true to style.

12-oz bottle into Samuel Smith "Tulip" pint glass
A - 3 fingers of cream-colored head over a slightly-cloudy golden yellow body (almost a tint of amber)
S - weak grainy smell, butter
T - wheat bread seasoned with herbal hops, slight fruitiness
M - medium body with medium/high carbonation
O - The color could be darker, the smell could certainly be stronger and more complex, the malt profile could be more pronounced, and the carbonation could be a few notches lower. It's a drinkable brew, but nothing special.

It's got a nice head, that's got to count for something. The beer itself is a slightly copper colored ginger ale looking liquid. The head is a couple fingers of different sized white bubbles. Thick and fluffy, it's got powerhouse retention and killer lace.
I tried and tried and tried to pick up some sort of scent, but there isn't much there. I think I detected something cracker-like, but I can't be positive.
It tastes like what I imagine dirty water would taste like. It's possibly got some imitation Noble hop variety and maybe even some ginger, but it really does taste like what I think dirty water tastes like.
Has kind of a faux savory feel. Either that or it's just beer gone bad, can't really tell. It gives me a bit of a pucker in the finish which I why I thought ginger might be in it.
Pretty bad beer. Not easy to get down. Better off avoiding this one.

My first post and apologize in advance about the format. I was disappointed with this English style ale though maybe my expectations were compromised. I love Theakstons, Tetleys, etc. and while I love the Dundee label, this beer disappointed from an expectations standpoint.
On the other hand, for a relatively inexpensive, surprising experience and for those interested in a light, lemony taste with easy drinkability, good after taste, it's not half bad.

A: pours a clear golden yellow color with a white head and ample amounts of lacing
S: light smell, wheat, grains, malts
T: light flavor as well, bread, grains, wheat, yeast, malts, and a bit of hops, could use a bit more oomp on the flavor side
M: medium carbonation, it is smooth and refreshing, its alrigt
O: was not bad, I would say it is alright, not impressive but I could drink one after another of this stuff, I'd say it is worth a try.
